“My first Yemeni food experience and it was absolutely incredible. Come in a group 4 or at least bring a friend and enjoy shareable plates. This was easily the best ful I have ever had in my life. I would honestly come back just to have that! Everything was greatly spiced and filling. The milk tea is absolutely fantastic. The dessert was a bit too sweet however was very enjoyable.”

Also serves freshly squeezed orange juice while most restaurants served canned juices. However, the seating and decor are all very humble. So walk in, if you like the food . “I had the pleasure of dining at Al-Diar Restaurant on two consecutive days, and both visits were exceptional. On my first day, I ordered the chicken mandi—perfectly cooked, aromatic, and deeply flavorful. The next day, I returned for the lamb mandi, which was just as impressive: tender, rich, and cooked to absolute perfection. The rice was fragrant, well-seasoned, and complemented the meat beautifully. The Adani tea was excellent—warm, spiced, and comforting. I also tried the masoob, and it was an outstanding dessert: rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. A perfect way to end the meal. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The owner, Abu Abdulaziz, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable, making you feel like a guest in his own home rather than just a customer. If you are looking for authentic Yemeni cuisine, generous portions, and genuine hospitality, this place is a must. Highly recommended — I will definitely be coming back.”
