“I've been here twice to pickup take out orders and even though there is a language barrier, their food is always fresh and piping hot. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos. Pictured are the chicken tacos.”

“Taqueria atotonilco never disappoints Especially with the tacos de asada and beef tacos Everytime I come here I have to order the Orange juice as well. The strawberry milkshake, and carrot juice were super good as well Taqueria atotonilco is one of my go to places always for me and my family for more than 15 years and it holds a special place to our hearts Service was fast, we got our food in no time Thank you our server & the cooks and whoever was upfront we were Greated with a smile and after leaving wished happy holidays The food never disappoints and will be back”

“Been coming here my whole life (I’m 35). Best tacos in the city, but how are they gna give me my shake like this?! Fill it up. You’re taxing me an arm and a leg already. The night time register guy hates his job. Was on his social media page during my whole ordering process.”

“I had the carne asada and al pastor tacos. And I’m very disappointed in the Atotonilco’s group. The carne asada had no flavor it was like salty as can ever be and just bland. The Al pastor taco I had was just mushy kind of style not like a marinated Al pastor taco. I definitely will not be back. But the service was great though. Maybe somebody else might like it. But I just was disappointed thought I was going to get there tacos with a wow factor I didn’t get that wow factor. That’s my review.”

“I was deeply disappointed since I've heard great things about the food here. It turned out that this restaurant has insanely unsanitary operations where leftovers of complimentary vinegary carrots (for the table), red sauce, and limes are reused and served to new customers from previous ones. The waiters would clean up a table, put the carrots, sauce, and limes back in to the fridge. Then when new customers come in, they take them out again to serve. Even the same plastic utensil and everything. It's a huge opportunity for a disastrous contamination situation. Pretty sure it's not compliant for food safety policies either. Please avoid going here!”
“Has been around forever. Used to go there as a child and place still looks the same. And the food is still delicious!!”
“The only place I like Milanesa tortas. Is the best, the salsa and curtidos. Not even the one on Kedzie/Pilsen have the same taste.”
“Great tacos. On the pricer side but they do pack it up with meat so it’s a give and take. Flavorful yummy tacos you feel like you’re back in time when you go so it’s a nice vibe.”
