Las Delicias De Maria — straightforward mexican in Bridgeport. The kind of cooking that doesn't need to explain itself. Katherine Wilkins: "salsa is flavorful and spicy, the quesabirria is authentic and juicy"

“Good place for Sunday breakfasts.”
Good place for Sunday breakfasts! One server person was not enough for quick service. However, the cuisine was excellent with many Mexican favorites!

Food was good. Prices are reasonable. Service people are well behaved. Location is good. Its near McKingsley park. One can have a brunch after their evening/afternoon walk. Also its opposite to a JewelOsco so you can do you daily/weekly Groceries after you have food here.

I came here pretty randomly because I wanted tacos while I was in the neighborhood, and I definitely got lucky. I tried four different tacos and all were shockingly good. The al pastor, lamb barbacoa, chicken, and chorizo were all well above average, and the price was pretty decent as well since they were loaded up with meat. I didn't adventure too much with the sauces and pickled veggies, but the green salsa was excellent. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the service was decent. Just a great experience all around. I can only speak for the tacos, but based on what I got, I'd say this place is a bit underrated at 4.3 stars. Definitely give it a go if you're in the area.

“Yesterday me and my mom went to the restaurant to dine in.”
Yesterday me and my mom went to the restaurant to dine in. I ordered a huarache de asada and my mom ordered a ensalad de pollo. My huarache was raw it wasn’t cooked well and I could feel the dough when eating. My mom asked for her chicken to be grilled and it was boiled. My mom went to the waitress to tell her about the salad and huarache I’m not sure if the other lady that approached my mom is the the chef or owner but she kept telling my mom what do you want me to do with an attitude. The way she responded wasn’t correct. The lady should’ve apologized instead of responding with attitude. We paid and then left my mom called the phone number on the receipt. The same lady responded and my mom told her she didn’t find it fair the way she was handling the situation the lady responded by saying what do you want me to do and said my mom wasn’t being nice. My mom was talking in a normal voice and trying to have a calm conversation but the lady was automatically talking with attitude. This isn’t the right way to handle a situation. I know have stomach pain and diarrhea.
