“Been here twice in one week.”
Been here twice in one week. My new spot for tacos!! First order was to go and it was still delicious. Second time we decided to dine in because they used to have dollar taco Tuesday but since the pandemic they stopped. We still wanted to eat there and order from their regular menu and still delicious like our take out.

“My fav place to go for Mexican food in the city.”
My fav place to go for Mexican food in the city. Large vats of pickled vegetables at every table and freshly fried chips with salsa verde and roja are brought to your table. There is usually no wait for a table but when it is busy the wait for your food can be long. My go to item is the perfectly seasoned and grilled carne asada platter. One of my favorite steaks in the city! Service can be slow but the staff is friendly and accommodating. On certain nights they have karaoke. This makes for great people watching since patrons come decked out in their finest Western wear. Parking is not hard to find on the street of Chicago ave.

“Some of the best al pastor I've had in the area.”
Some of the best al pastor I've had in the area. Has a level of sweetness with spice that I like. Tortilla chips also seem to be fresh and are complimented very well with the variety of salsas provided. While I liked the tortilla chips, I was a little disappointed with the fact that the tortillas for the tacos seemed to be store-bought flour tortillas. I did not like the suadero or carne asada, but I'll definitely return for the pastor.

“These guys are consistent and good.”
These guys are consistent and good. I normally get the lengua and it’s pretty damn good! It’s one of the few places I trust with a good taco! Their steak is pretty good too! Keep in mind the guacamole is pretty damn expensive but they do have taco Tuesday and they are crazy cheap here! Overall a great spot and worth going to! Give them a try!

Good prices. Salsa was good but the tacos were a tad underwhelming. Tripas taco had a very grainy mouth feel in particular. Staff were friendly.

“I like the decoration of the place and the jukebox nice detail.”
I like the decoration of the place and the jukebox nice detail. The food is average a little burned and it looks ingredients are not fresh. Nice variety in the menu, i giess is quantity over quality. The place could be cleaner (come on is food ,) ). Friendly staff. The tamarind fresh water was more sugar+water than tamarind.... again quality.
