Listen, I live right next to Big Wig and I’m there all the time. The food is great.
The meat was tender but not flavorful at all. Maybe a 1am visit was the problem 🤷🏾♀️ The tacos had too much cheese.
Had 4 quesadillas for me and friends which kinda added up pretty quickly, I tried it and it was good couple first bites but they were soggy.

Today was my first time eating at Big Wig Tacos, and wow! The tacos were phenomenal! I ordered 1 chorizo taco, 1 chicken, and 1 steak taco. We also had chorizo quesadilla and a chicken bowl. Fresh and authentic Mexican food.

My nearest Big Wig is the Logan Square location on Milwaukee Ave. At my last visit, I had a delicious warm crispy steak torta. The mahi mahi tacos and chips/queso hit the spot too. The agua fresca de jamaica/hibiscus was super refreshing. The food and service is always on point plus knowing that everything is prepped fresh daily makes it even better. Also, everything is cooked right in front of you! 5 stars!!

Randomly stopped in for food like I always do because BIG WIG NEVER DISAPPOINTS. Eni was so cool and kind, introduced me to the margarita happy hour special they just started. Now THEY know how to make margaritas. How do I know, because it’s the way I make mine - natural agave, fresh squeezed limes, NO SYRUP! Amazing, go in and see Eni and get the BIG margarita. This was not paid for. I paid for my meal and took the time to write this so it’s legit lol

This place is so great. The portion sizes are massive, and the prices are worth it for what you are getting! The food is definitely good to share with another person. The horchata is so delicious. I love it! The staff is also very nice. The restaurant is kept clean. They are open until late.

I had this place one time late night through DoorDash. It was so good that I gave it a second go. It is so fresh and has so much flavor. I usually get the bowl and load it up with as much as possible. Consistent good flavors and I have not been let down yet! I think I paid around 16 bucks for my bowl so it can get pricey however you get enough for at least two meals. Definitely will be returning!

Some of the best Mexican food in the area. The mahi mahi taco with a splash of the green salsa always hits the spot. Probably one of the best fish tacos in the city. The asada, barbacoa and chorizo 🤌🏾 chefs kiss. The white queso cheese dip, you need to slap it on everything. Tortas are bigger then normal, the burrito is packed. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus the stuff is always nice and will to take care of you. 10/10 I’ll be back this week.

It's best to think of this place - and this is intended as anything but an insult - as a much better, more expensive version of Chipotle. I was hoping their bowl would be superior to the one offered up by ol' MegaloMexican, and it turned out I was trght. The Jamaica tea was great, too. A word of warning about paying, though - it's credit/debit only, which is the only thing Chipotle has over them.

Stopped here for a late night burrito after having some drinks. I was thoroughly impressed and thought the chicken burrito was delicious. It was the right portion size for a late time snack. Will be coming back more often!
