“The food was good with great taste. Had falafel wrap and chicken kabob platter. The food was enough for two of us.”

“We were filming a commercial down the street and discovered Sinya for lunch. We enjoyed the speedy service and the delicious wraps!”

“Excelente servicio, al principio dude en entrar porque crei que no hablaban español , pero me emocione cuando me di cuenta que la persona a cargo de tomar el pedido habla varios idiomas , nos dieron un aperitivo de bienvenida despues llevaron nuestro pedido a la mesa y quedaron satisfechos mis familiares tanto asi que quedo comida para llevar , que platillos tan deliciosos recomiendo este lugar 100%”

“First time here! I told the employee it was my first visit, and he just pointed at the menu for me to look. It would have been nice to get some recommendations or hear what they are known for. That said, the food was great! I had the chicken kabob plate with a side of 4-piece falafel—it was honestly the best combo. The hummus was super creamy and had a delicious garlic flavor.”

“Sinya is right around the corner from me and I ordered my pickup and it was on time and FRESH! Meat was delicious and juicy. Rice was warm and tasty. The sauces were amazing!”

“The food here was excellent! Everything tasted super fresh! We got the veggie combo plate and the impossible kofte - amazing vegan options! Would definitely recommend!”

“I came in today to check it out. As soon as I entered I saw the guy by the door and said “table for 2” then he replied “you order here and then we bring to the table”. I smiled slightly embarrassed. If I had only paused to look I would have noticed the order counter and the large menu above him lol. So it’s not a sit-down but more like a fastfood carry out place. The tables look nifty enough and a smashing restroom, best one in the area. The menu is pretty basic, that is to say classic fare for Middle eastern eats: shawarma different meat with wrap, salad or entree options. Hummus, babaghanoush, falafel etc. If you get an entree, you could choose the type of salad it comes with. Kudos to the guy who suggested it since my mother who wasn’t very keen on ordering selected lentil soup, sinya salad ala carte then got the entree. She would’ve gotten 2 salads if he didn’t mention it. I ordered the beef shawarma entree which came with yellow basmati rice, and a side of hummus, pita and salad. For the drink, I had the very refreshing mint lemonade. After ordering we sat down and within minutes, our plates, in the form of compostible takeout containers, came out. The food temperature was appropriate and was delicious and an adequate portion. It might be lesser than the competition but I much prefer this size than an extra large where leftovers often go to the bin. The con would be some of the tables weren’t clean but not that it was disgusting, I could see crumbs. The bathroom also had some crumpled tissue on the floor. So maybe some customers are just not cleaning after themselves. Named after a village in Palestine, this new spot is a welcome addition to levantine group of places in the neighborhood.”

“A good spot to grab a quick bite; service was fast during my visit and portions are good too. I had the falafel and spicy chicken wraps. Both were well seasoned, and I thought the falafels were especially good. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and the staff here is responsive and warm too.”
“They made it very easy to order catering for a party of 10 the day before. They saved my meeting! And everyone was raving about how tender the meat was”
“Really yummy, fresh falafel, shawarma, tabbouleh, hummus, and baba ghanoush!”
“I love this nice little hidden gem in the Albany Park neighborhood. My favorite item is the falafel wrap for $7.99. Sinya Mediterranean will give you a big sandwich with a lot of toppings. Good quality food + an excellent price = happy and returning customers. All of their other items are really good too.”
