“The food at Medi Kitchen + Cocktail was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The quality of the food, combined with the inviting atmosphere, made for a wonderful dining experience. I look forward to visiting again!”

“Wonderful tasty Mediterranean gem- came here before a concert at the Salt Shed, convenient. Street parking available. Service was good, food very tasty, fun and unique cocktails. Prices reasonable for the city. Cozy and artsy interior.”

“Visiting Chicago and had a party of 4 on valentines nonetheless. Michelle our server absolutely crushed the service on most likely one of the most important restaurant nights for the industry. We always had water on the table, she was able to recommend amazing cocktails and dishes, and by the end we felt so special we may as well been besties!! The food was top tier standouts being the babaganoush and fattoush salad and presentation was fabulous!! I usually take pictures but it looked so good I forgot to. The next time I am in town I will be definitely coming back, and when my friends visit Chicago it will be my own top rec!! Thank you to the manager chase for coming over and making sure we were having an excellent time!! Till next time!”

“Santiago was awesome! Chicken Schwarma was delicious and you have to try the Medi Martini with Kastra Elion Greek Vodka, dry gin and Cocchi vermouth. I’ll be back soon.”

“Came here with a group of 10 on a super busy night, and even with a long line, the service was incredible. The staff was so attentive, but a special shoutout to our server—I believe her name was Mooney? She was a lovely lady and so incredibly nice; I’d go back just for her! We shared all the bites as a group. The Wagyu braised octopus is an absolute MUST and the hummus was delightful. Just a bit of constructive feedback on the meats: we found the red meat to be a tad dry—adding more fatty parts to the mix would really help make it more juicy and moist. Also, the chicken was a bit bland; a good brine would likely elevate the flavor and texture. Overall, a great experience thanks to the wonderful service. We’ll definitely be back!”

“The food was delicious, but I was disappointed that the baba ghanoush was served in a broken dish. I let the server know as well. This is unacceptable considering it is a high scale restaurant.”

“The hummus was really good we devoured it. The potato borek was an interesting experience, tasted like a samosa but less season and looked like a spring roll. The chicken shawarma was honestly very mid and tastes like biryani meat. The cotton candy ice cream was like soan paper. The sticky date cake was good! The service was slow”

“The drinks were delicious, but that’s where my praise ends. We didn’t get sat for our 7pm reservation until 7:30 and then waited another 10 minutes for our server. The manager came by and said he’d send over free food. Our entrees were good but not better than take-out Mediterranean I’ve had before. We had finished our entrees and 15 minutes later our server came by to say the manager was sending over 2 free appetizers. At this point we just wanted to go home, so we declined and asked for our desserts to go. They came out 10 minutes later on plates, and we had to ask again for them to be to go. I was so excited to try Medi as the restaurant week menu sounded delicious, but unfortunately the service just really let us down (and there were a few empty tables so they weren’t slammed or anything). I don’t think I’d recommend dining in but maybe to-go would be better!”
“Michelle was awesome!! Excellent food and service! Espresso martini is best I've had!”
