Pars Cove Restaurant — Lincoln Park middle eastern that sets the standard. Order the Persian Food. The setting makes it easy to linger, and owner-operated. Jill Myers: "We shared the sampler appetizer platter, and the bread was warm/fresh from the oven"

“The main dish has large portions, and I loved the lamb chop the best”
I walked into this little Persian spot feeling hopeful.
To the owner: please sell this restaurant while you can.
Never again. I’m astounded by the online rave reviews. We had an early dinner here today and were the only customers.

The place was nice and cozy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and very flavorful. We asked for hot sauce and they made some for us. We are already planning on our next dinner there.

“This is a cozy, intimate restaurant that radiates warmth and charm.”
This is a cozy, intimate restaurant that radiates warmth and charm. The atmosphere is inviting and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The food is solid — while it may not be groundbreaking, the dishes are well-prepared, satisfying, and reflect care in their preparation. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional service. Both the owner and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every guest’s needs. They create a genuine, personal experience that makes you want to return again and again. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or looking for a relaxed spot to spend an evening, this restaurant delivers a memorable experience thanks to its warm vibe, decent food, and outstanding hospitality.

“The food at Pars Cove was absolutely delicious.”
The food at Pars Cove was absolutely delicious! From the rich, creamy baba ganoush to the perfectly buttered saffron rice, tender kabob, and flavorful joojeh kabob—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Aside from the buttered saffron rice, the romantic ambiance—reminiscent of Persian poetry—and the perfect selection of nostalgic Iranian music made the experience even more special. If you’re in the Lincoln Park or Lakeview area and love Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, don’t miss out on this unforgettable spot!

“Highly recommend.”
Highly recommend! Food was absolutely delicious. Traditional Persian cuisine that never disappoints! The owner was so charming and even gave a rose to husband to give to myself and my two daughters. Will definitely go back when we are in Chicago!

“This is how kabobs should taste.”
This is how kabobs should taste. Juicy and perfectly seasoned beef, chicken, lamb. The lentil soup will warm you up. Family business taking pride in their product. Good luck having room left for the honey ice cream.

“I’m surprised that this place doesn’t have more reviews on Google.”
I’m surprised that this place doesn’t have more reviews on Google. We ordered the Dinner for Two Kabo Tray and it was delicious! The appetizer sampler allows you to try all the great samples on the menu. Then it comes with soup and salads. The main dish has large portions, and I loved the lamb chop the best. When you think you’re done with your meal, you’re not – dessert is still coming. The carrot cake and ice cream drizzled with honey were fabulous. It’s reasonably price and a great place in Lincoln Park!

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an amazing experience at this restaurant.”
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The Persian food and kebabs were incredibly delicious, capturing the authentic flavors perfectly. The atmosphere was beautifully nostalgic, transporting me back to Iran. The owner, a kind and friendly Persian gentleman who has been here since 1969, made the experience even more special. His warmth and care for his customers are evident in every interaction. Even though Doogh wasn’t on the menu, he went out of his way to make one for me. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving genuine Persian cuisine and a welcoming environment!

“Pars Cove is a true neighborhood gem.”
Pars Cove is a true neighborhood gem. I'm extremely picky about acoustics, and love that you can actually have a conversation here. The service is warm and friendly and Mr. Pars always comes around to say hello, which means so much. As for the food, it's the best Persian food I've had in the city. I especially love their dolmeh.

“Best Persian food I've tried in Illinois so far.”
Best Persian food I've tried in Illinois so far! The steak kebab tastes like LUXURY - tender, flavorful, I don't think any other middle easter place would beat that yet!! Small hole in the wall place with a nice owner, I'd vouch for this place and will want to eat here again!

“My husband booked us a table at Pars Cove for our last evening in Chicago.”
My husband booked us a table at Pars Cove for our last evening in Chicago. I am so glad we visited because the Persian food was delicious, and I loved how small and intimate the space was. We sat in the conservatory section, which had beautiful natural light and plants. We shared the sampler appetizer platter, and the bread was warm/fresh from the oven. We ordered a pitcher of sweet white sangria. It was the best either of us have ever had. My starter was The Cove salad, and my husband (vegan) had the lentil soup. Our entrees were the Vegetable Mediterranean and the Ju Jah Kabob. Dessert was a sweet bread with honey, vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon sprinkled on all. This restaurant was a top favorite.
