Food: delicious and plated beautifully. My friends and I went for restaurant week and shared an assortment of the brunch dishes. They were all good! Service: it was busy, but our waiter was still attentive and kind. Food came out FAST. Atmosphere: gorgeous space with comfortable, intimate seating. Even though it was restaurant week, they still had great service and cuisine. I was impressed.

We had a small 44 person wedding at Beatnik in West Town and it was an absolute dream. Cassandra was a fantastic coordinator and when the weather was too hot to stay in the courtyard, they were able to change plans and move us to the dining room. The whole Beatnik team is absolutely fabulous and so kind. They made sure we were taken care of every minute of the day. The atmosphere was incredible and gorgeous. No details were overlooked. And the food was absolutely amazing. The portions were perfect and it was great to share family style with our families. I had an incredible experience at Beatnik and would recommend to anyone looking to host a special event.

This place is a boss of fusion foods and puts together amazing dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. I suggest anything. Don’t be shy because you will love anything you get here. Happy hour is a must and some of the apps and the mouth watering double cheese burger looked amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don’t know something they will find out for you, but for the most part they know everything about the restaurant and almost every ingredient and form of preparation. Beautiful presentation in every dish and the flavors are manicured to the most finicky of palates.

Food was high quality and the vibe was chill! My favorite dish was the raw salmon appetizer. 😋 I'm still thinking about it days later!! My main course was the shrimp esquites. It was pretty good. Don't think I'd order it again becos it tasted like something I could make at home.

“Loved the ambiance and the vibe.”

Loved the ambiance and the vibe. Very Moroccan Mediterranean chic. We came for restaurant week and had the granola, falafel, waffle, burger, and fried chicken. Everything was really, really great. The only minor qualm is that the sauce for the chicken was not very salty, but I would much prefer under salt then over salt.

“Come for the ambiance, stay for the burger.”

Come for the ambiance, stay for the burger! It’s one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in west town with a great happy hour deal featuring their delicious double cheeseburger (pictured). The rest of the food has more North African influence than traditional Mediterranean- think heavier on the cumin than sumac. Not my first pick for this cuisine type but a very fun happy hour. However, if you are NA be prepared to pay $7 for a Diet Coke.

“What a fun place to eat.”

What a fun place to eat! I felt like we were outside even though we were inside. The dishes were unique and tasty. A bit challenging to decipher the dishes but we ordered a few and shared. Most of the portions were average size. But the egg sandwich was quite large. Overall, a fun experience.

Our Chicago friends brought us here but it wasn't what they were expecting. We stayed anyway! We each got a drink and some food and it was all delicious. I'll say the food menu is somewhat small and odd, however. But we split a cheeseburger and the feta dates and it was probably the best cheeseburger I've ever had, and I don't usually like them to begin with. It was divine. We all liked our drinks as well and the atmosphere is just beautiful, except they were watching wrestling and then golf on the huge TVs right by us at the bar, that was odd. 😂 They need to have something beautiful on TV to match the restaurant. The music was also blasting so we all had to scream, that seemed pretty typical everywhere we went in Chicago tho. We're not used to that! Anyway, it was really fun and great burgers and drinks.

“Beatnik was amazing .”

Beatnik was amazing ! We made reservations and were seated almost immediately after walking in. Our waiter arrived and began reviewing the menu offering a few suggestions. We finally decided to order drinks and the small plate route to share amongst the table. Our drinks were delicious. Each one was incredibly flavourful and caught each one of us off guard. They were delicious ! Our food order came shortly after and was more than enough for the table. We also ordered sorbet for dessert. Our experience here was very pleasant. The music and decor were awesome. The food and drinks were even better !

What an amazing ambience! Loved the decor. The food was just as excellent. Shareable plates so bring your appetite and plan to share the options and try some new things. Food was fanatastic. Our server Nick offered great suggestions.
