“No mas me dijeron que algunas cosas cobran y que la salsa tambien les dije que estava bien que me la cobren y al llegar a casa ni salsa incluida, ni salsa pagada, pero esta bien todo muy sabroso.”

“Heard and read all the reviews of this place and had to give them a try. We came specifically for the brain tacos (tacos de sesos), let me tell you they did not disappoint. The carnitas are awesome and with all the garnishment they were fantastic. Will definitely be back!”

“I had a great breakfast here on a bright Saturday morning. The staff was inviting, and our group was seated promptly. The interior is beautifully designed and creates a wonderful atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was amazing. If you're looking for a carnitas spot, this is the place! My friends and I ordered 2 pounds of carnitas and absolutely devoured it. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got. A fantastic addition to the Little Village neighborhood!”

“Great, food, service, and drinks. Lots of free parking . They now have two lots, look for their signs. We had a pound of carnitas, nopales, and 5 drinks. Under $80 . Carnitas come with tortillas, green and red salsa, and chicharones and more.”

“Good food, fairly priced if you go during the week. No wait on a Thursday morning .”

“This was a little bit of Mexico in Chicago. The atmosphere the decor, the little plastic plates to the way that garden does the tortillas and the hot peppers were served. Just all reminded us of a restaurant in Mexico City. I just have two suggestions for the restaurant. The Carnitas and tortillas get cold too fast on the table because they are uncovered., I would just suggest to buy those Mexican tortilla holders to keep the tortillas warm. and to keep the Carnitas in aluminum foil as is traditional for take out. The second observation is that the price of non-alcoholic drinks like the Horchata were on the high side. If I go down the street and ask for a large drink, I will get nearly a liter worth of a drink the same price. Lastly, the salsas need more kick otherwise offer mild and hot. Nonetheless, neither of these things will keep us from coming back again. We really enjoyed ourselves and everything was delicious.”

“They are the worst carnitas I have eaten, they serve it cold and tasteless, the sauces that are not tasty, they taste more sugar than spicy. Their specialty is supposed to be carnitas, but they are far from that, they are not recommended.”
“Very good restaurant and atmosphere 👌 Good service the best carnitas”
“Love this place! Great carnitas! We go with our family and it can accommodate a group of 10-12 easy. We order the carnitas by the pound and they bring it to the table with hot tortillas. The guac is great as well. I just wish they served more guac with the chips. The salsa verde is excellent. The one thing they have I that I have never had before is the horchata cafe. It’s a must have!! The staff has always been so kind & I think they really like what they do when you just watch their interactions with customers. Can’t wait to return !”
