“Me gustó el concepto religioso, el menú estaba muy claro y variado, todos los platillos que ordenamos estuvieron ricos y las porciones fueron buenas, no exageraron de mucha ni poca comida. El personal siempre estuvo atento. Seguramente volveré pronto.”

“La Catedral on Ogden never disappoints. Their chilaquiles are fire, but honestly the torta tradicional is just as good. And the rompochino latte… so damn good. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. One of my favorite breakfast spots in Chicago for sure.”

“I definitely recommend visiting La Catedral. The food and drink was amazing and the staff is lovely. The Restaurant itself was beautiful and well decorated with beautiful artwork, statues, decorations and murals. even the menu was pretty. The menu was large and had something for everyone. We tried the strawberry Nutella, and banana pancakes as well as the strawberry mango crepes. the pancakes were largely portioned, fluffy and delicious. the crepes were perfectly portioned and the fruit on everything was perfectly ripe and fresh. my dad tried to vegetable omelet with beans and toast and he enjoyed it. The coffee was so good! my dad tried the Cafe de Olla and he said it was the best thing he’s had throughout our whole trip to chicago. It was perfectly sweet and didn’t need any added cream or sweeteners. if you like cinnamon at all, you should definitely try it! the iced latte was delicious and had a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. The Cajeta was also delicious. The iced Mexchata was delicious, but extremely sweet, perfect for someone with a sweet tooth or someone who doesn’t like the taste of coffee. We visited on a Thursday morning and didn’t have any trouble finding street parking nearby. We had an amazing experience at La Catedral and highly recommend giving any of their locations a try! We will definitely be back next time we are in Chicago.”

“El lugar se siente súper acogedor ! La comida muy rica y sobre todo el café de olla y los chilaquiles 10/10. Excelente si quieres una mañana tranquila y relajada”

“Great experience. Love the decor and all the details. Had the abuelita hot chocolate and it brought me back memories of my mom making it during the holidays ! The strawberry crepes were very good. Both my kids are picky eaters and ended-up eating the biriachiles. Will definitely recommend!! Our server was very welcoming and friendly”

“Para comer Chilaquiles solo aqui en La Catedral, verdaderamente son los mejores!!! Cada que voy pido uno diferente y todos son deliciosos.”

“Vale la pena la espera, la comida muy rica y el café súper bueno.”

“As a regular to the little village I was happy to hear about another location opening up. I’ve been here with my family several times and have been taken care of by the staff. I recommend The chilaquiles divorciados and the limón con chía Agua Fresca. I’ve had to wait for a table during the week and the weekend so just be prepared. That’s what happens when you have a great establishment. It’s worth the wait every time.”

“I was craving for a Cafe de Olla and glad I found this place. The atmosphere is lovely with great decor. The food is delicious and the service is good. Our waiter Karla was wonderful and nice. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious authentic Mexican breakfast.”

“I had a wonderful time at La Catedral! The food was full of authentic Mexican flavor, and our server Miguel gave excellent service that made the visit even better. I also tried the Mexchata, which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Highly recommend visiting La Catedral for great Mexican food, amazing drinks, and outstanding hospitality! I would absolutely go back.”
