Iron Age Korean Steakhouse — korean in Noble Square. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. Knowledgeable staff, so ask for guidance. Aleks Ruso: "The meat was very fresh and everything was very well seasoned"

“I love Korean barbecue, and this place knows how to separate really well”
“I'm pretty sure that most of the people that complain about getting sick from the food here don't know how to cook.”
I'm pretty sure that most of the people that complain about getting sick from the food here don't know how to cook. Give this place a try, it's a cheaper option and the quality of the meats/ flavors are really good. The wait times can be long and the service can use some work, but this is our go-to spot.

“I love this place.”
I love this place. It’s so good. I went for the first time. The waiter was so nice. Wish I knew his name. He provided amazing service! The meats came so fast. They were on it with switching the plates so our meat doesn’t stick. The soju was great! All the food was fresh my favorite was the Brisket was so thin. I loved it. Bulgogi with pineapple was tasty!

“All you can eat and cook your own food at the table.”
All you can eat and cook your own food at the table. Meat is well seasoned and flavorful and the dipping sauces are very good. Price is very reasonable for what you get. I think the only knock I'd have on it would be how loud it can get over dinner hours.

“Love, love, love this place.”
Love, love, love this place! It was my second time in Chicago, I ate here the first time I visited, and I decided to bring my entire family the second time. Iron Age, Korean steakhouse did not disappoint! We got there during the dinner rush, there were already a lot of people waiting when we got there, but they gave us a table real quick, under 10 minutes. Right away the table what’s up, they give you some oil and salt and chili sauce for your meat with some sides. We ordered several items on the menu, I don’t know if the portions were big the first time I came, but the portions were humongous. It wasn’t a problem, but we didn’t get to try that many items on the menu because we were full with the first round of meat we ordered. wish the portions could’ve been smaller. Our server was friendly, but didn’t return to the table that often. The atmosphere was really nice, the music was really great. The food was delicious. Just like the first time, my belly was satisfied. I love Korean barbecue, and this place knows how to separate really well. Highly recommend you make sure the portion they are giving you is for 1 to 2 people, depending on your group. If it’s too big of a portion, let your server know if it’s too much and they’ll take it off the table. They do have a policy, where if you order too much, and do not eat it, they will fine you by charging you extra. You cannot take food to-go.

“Today, I decided to visit Iron Age Steakhouse after receiving many enthusiastic recommendations from several friends.”
Today, I decided to visit Iron Age Steakhouse after receiving many enthusiastic recommendations from several friends. The restaurant was bustling every time I passed by, so I decided to give it a try. We opted for the all-you-can-eat menu, which offered an impressive assortment of meats—from beef to pork, chicken, and shrimp. Each option had unique and delicious flavors; my personal favorites were the Garlic Pork Steak and the Beef Bulgogi. The freshness and taste of the meats were exceptional. Our experience was elevated by our server, Yoona, whose outstanding service and attentiveness added to the enjoyment of our meal. I highly recommend making a reservation on weekends to avoid extended waiting times. In my opinion, Iron Place stands out as the Best Korean steakhouse in Chicago, offering an exceptional combination of unbeatable quality, reasonable prices, and outstanding service that makes it truly unique.

“Definitely have a wait.”
Definitely have a wait. We were called in about half an hour, they were really busy. The meat was very fresh and everything was very well seasoned. All of their sauces were great. Our server was super nice. For the price of $29 all you can eat per person I would definitely this place and this location.

“In my overall experience it was great.”
In my overall experience it was great! The restaurant was very lively and busy, especially during the evening hours. Be warned that the music is a bit loud for ambiance. My 70+ year old mom could handle it, but the volume atmosphere may not be for everyone. I recommend getting there anytime before 4pm before the crowd hits. There's free parking around the back area where Jewel & Osco is for the restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't find this out til we arrived at the entrance, but the metered street parking was only a few bucks via the parking app, not bad. We arrived there around 5pm on a Tuesday. I guess we got super lucky as "walk-in" customers as it is highly recommended to make a reservation in advance. We got seated within 5 minutes. As the night went on, it got extremely busy. We did the "All You Can Eat" Korean BBQ for dinner. Menus are contactless so have your phones ready to scan the QR code. You can only order 3 meats at a time. There was a decent amount of portions between me and my mom. We totalled our meal to 8 portions with refills on drinks and steamed rice on the side. Getting the waiter will be a little tough, it's super busy in the restaurant so they're trying their best to serve everyone. Don't be offended if they pass you up or they forget something. Just understand the busy atmosphere that's inside there. Every 3 portions, they'll switch out the grill plate. The food was fantastic and all the things we ordered were tasty. (And really made us full by the end of the meal.) I don't know if you can request standard eating utensils. It's mainly a chopstick dining experience. Our whole meal ended up being $70 before tip. It's worth it in my opinion. Gonna try to see if some friends can come along with me to enjoy this place.

The restaurant has an attractive decor that makes you wanna go in there and see what’s going on! The food is good but I recommend you to go there with just one person because going there with 3-5 people is going to be boring because you’re all waiting to eat! The food takes time to get cooked and one grill isn’t gonna cook much. Good service as well!

🍖🥓🥩All you can eat KBBQ options are rare in Chicago and when you get it at a sub $30 price it is hard to beat. Loved the food and the place. Server was friendly and took great care of us. The one little stain in the experience was when the host did not honor the line and seated people that came after us while we were waiting.

“Great dining experience and food if you love Korean BBQ with Korean pop music.”
Great dining experience and food if you love Korean BBQ with Korean pop music. When first entering, we were greeted politely by the front door guy who made our reservations. Even though he said an hour, we lucked out, and it only ended up being 20 minutes. After being promptly seated, our server explained everything we needed about how to prepare our food. He was nice and very attentive to our needs. The meat that was brought to us was excellent, and with our servers' instruction, I was able to cook the meat quite well. We had the shrimp, Hawaiian steak, season steak ,Octopus , steam egg, and pork steak. The drink we had was the supo, which was quite tasty as well. I recommend coming here in a group or is perfect for Date night if you enjoy the korean pop music vibe.
