Bibim Town — Mundelein korean that sets the standard. The food tastes like it should, with no compromises. Hospitality you can feel from the door. Wallet-friendly, owner on site. "The bibimbap is surprisingly tasty and fresh especially the meat which is so tender and seasoned" — Randy Kim

“This bowl that is pictured (I forget the name but an egg was added at my buddy’s suggestion) was one of the best meals I have had in a long time”
While the concept of Bibim Town is appealing, my recent experience fell short of my expectations.
Unbelievably place the food stay without covers , they prefer to not use gloves and she use the spoon for mixing the soup after tasting it if its good after she use the same spoon mix again 🤯🤯🤯, they touch the vegetables and other food without gloves from the plate were was extra vegetables she take off with her fingers and after she brings the food to client🤯🤯🤯.

“I’ve been scoping out restaurants in the area and happened to find Bibim Town really close to home.”
I’ve been scoping out restaurants in the area and happened to find Bibim Town really close to home. It was incredible!! I got the J-Bop with white rice, spicy pork, and an egg and I cleaned my plate. Everything’s made from scratch (even the kimchi) and tasted so fresh. I’m excited to go back and would highly recommend checking it out! It’s an absolute gem of a place and I’m so glad that I decided to go 🤗

“I'm really glad I found this place.”
I'm really glad I found this place. Food tastes fresh and delicious. I love that I can get a healthy serving of vegetables and proteins as tasty Korean food. I have tried the Bibim Bap (Vege Lover) and added the spicy pork, and then the Jim Bap (Bento style, with rice, Spicy pork again because its delicious, vegetables and some appetizers) The kimchi is pickled well and tastes delicious. They do make everything fresh here from scratch. I plan to come back for sure, and try the noodles next (Jjolmyeon which is a spicy chewy cold noodle) Also, they serve barley tea with the meals (cold in the summer time and hot in the winter time) and I love barley tea. Place is also clean and has a nice vibe. I'll be back!

“As a Korean, this restaurant’s food is really good, and the owner is kind and nice.”
As a Korean, this restaurant’s food is really good, and the owner is kind and nice. Place and food also are really clean and delicious. I personally never saw any restaurant cook this delicious bibimbap like here in the USA. I highly recommend this place. I always get bibimbap but this time I tried Jip bap. It was really delicious as well!!!!!! So nice.!!!!

“A clean restaurant.”
A clean restaurant. Food is good. I ordered J-Bop. meat option: spicy pork. I asked for no egg. Black/purple rice. Food is tasty. Loved the banchan and the pork. Korean pancakes are made from cabbage which still tastes good but different from the chive based ones I am used to. Glad they opened up this place in north suburbs. May 2024 update: The J bop is so delicious. Really loved the spicy pork which is Korean’s equivalent to Mexican’s al pastor in the culinary field in my humble opinion. The dumpling and Korean pancake are tailored to the local American taste but doesn’t take away authenticity. The pancake no longer has the noticeable cabbage flavor that I mentioned in the past but still tastes good. Customers are a mix of Koreans and Americans so you can hear Korean in the background.

“I wanted a place to eat something and work for a couple hours.”
I wanted a place to eat something and work for a couple hours. Since I was there at off peak hours, this worked well. I would not have been comfortable parking myself at a table for an extended stay at dinner time, as even at off peak hours they get traffic. I bring my own hot spot so I don’t know if they have WiFi. I ordered the “vege lovers special” (B1) with crystal noodles, added meat, and an egg. It was very good, and the portion size is generous.

“Bright and inviting atmosphere.”
Bright and inviting atmosphere. I ordered to go, but kind of wish I ate in. The food was also very fresh and had lots of different flavor profiles. I had the dumplings, pancakes, and spicy pork. I will be back to try more. I'm already recommending to friends and family.
