“Kama is a must visit! We went when it first opened and were a little underwhelmed but the second time around was really really great. They stepped it up. Chicken Tikka masala was sooooo good. We see every drop. Lamb curry tacos also a must order. One of the go to restaurants in wicker park!”

“We came here for happy hour. Mussels and garlic naan were very delicious.”

“If you are looking for Indian cuisine that perfectly balances traditional flavors with a modern, upscale vibe, Kama is a must-visit in Chicago. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, ideal for dinner. We started with the Paneer Lemon Tadka and some cocktails. For mains, we got the Malai kofta and dal makhani with some Naan and roti. Everything was top notch. What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail. The spice levels are authentic without being overwhelming, and the presentation of every dish is stunning. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. It’s easily one of the best dining experiences in the city right now. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Awesome experience! Food was so good, service was fantastic.”

“I went to Kama recently and everything hit. I got the spicy chicken tikka masala and it was super creamy with a solid kick, not overwhelming, just right. It came with white rice and paired perfectly with the garlic naan. The samosas were crispy on the outside and really soft on the inside and flavorful. the sauces they came with were perfect, one was a sweet jam (I think tamarind…) and the other reminded me of a chimichurri style sauce, I couldn’t choose which one is better. The crispy chili potatoes were the star of the show. Exactly as described on the menu, crispy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside, and tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce. I also got a Kamarita and it was perfectly balanced with salt on the rim, rich yellow color, and spicy. The spice is strong at first but went down easy. I’ve ordered on Uber Eats many times after going in.”

“We had an incredible experience at Bistro in Wicker Park. The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Mallory. She went above and beyond to make us feel special, even accommodating our request for an intimate table for a special occasion. Service like that is rare these days, and we truly appreciated the care and attention she gave us. Highly recommend!”

“Busy. Vibrant. The curry was top tier and light. The playlist and ambience were great. Resy highly recommended.”

“Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! Our server/bartender was also excellent. All dishes were perfectly timed, and they made sure to ask us about spice levels and other preferences. The cocktails are unique, and the mocktails were refreshing and tasty. The crispy chili potatoes and the lamb shank are a must!!”

“I recently visited Kama Bistro and ordered the Malai Kofta along with Garlic Naan, and I was truly impressed. The taste was delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic naan was fresh and paired beautifully with the dish. The service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. On top of that, the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, creating a great dining experience. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Kama Bistro and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Indian cuisine.”

“We went here for dinner to celebrate Diwali. Loved the food and the cocktails here especially the apps chilli potatoes and the lemon chicken. For our mains we ordered the braised lamb in achari curry, the Goan fish curry and the paneer ravioli. All 3 mains were very tasty. We ended the night with desserts - both the chai tiramisu and the bourbon gulab jamun were amazing. The maraschino cherries with the tiramisu was a perfect counterbalance to the sweet gulab jamuns. Would definitely come back.”

“Amazing experience they went above n beyond explaining the drinks and we had a birthday celebration which they took extra efforts to make it into a mini surprise. Food had flavors drinks were good and the server were really good. I would say it will leave you with a nice experience as well as taste.”

“I have ordered from Kama several times over the past year- usually I get the barbacoa tacos and samosas, but after their menu change/update they no longer have the tacos. 🥺 Their samosas are delicious, though. I wish I could eat more on their menu but with my dairy/egg allergy I am pretty restricted. However, the taste profiles of the tacos and samosas were on point and my partner says their tikka masala is the best she's ever had. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't already... you won't regret it!”
