Lawrence Fish Market — Albany Park japanese where the sushi in town sets the tone. Feels like it's been there since before the neighborhood changed. The team can walk you through the menu. Easy on the wallet, fast service. Catalin Maticiuc: "The seafood is incredibly fresh, and every bite is a testament to the quality they offer"

“We ordered a platter of sushi, but rather than order from the set platters available, we opted to order sushi our family love, we love anything with salmon”

I haven’t been to this place for 8 years and I’m glad I made it back. The interior has changed for better and sushi quality was top notch! I enjoyed it so much I had to order twice. Will be back and recommend to friends.

“Just tried LFM for the first time.”
Just tried LFM for the first time! I would recommend. Great sushi rolls for an affordable price. I ordered the “A2” maki tray which is listed to feed 2-3 people. There was a good variety of fish (tasted great), texture and flavor throughout the tray. I ordered ahead on a busy night (new year’s eve) knowing it would take some time to receive my order. Though it did take some time, everyone was polite and handled the large sea of people well. I will be back to try some nigiri for sure. Also, they’re listed as “cash only”, though they did allow some patrons to pay with Venmo when the ATM malfunctioned. Totally worth it for take-out sushi.

I love the sushi at Lawrence Fish Market. My brother introduced me to the restaurant and have been hooked ever since. I drive from the south side just for the food. The quality and pricing is what brings me back everytime. Enjoy!

I've been going here for over 13 years, and honestly, they've kept the same quality since the beginning! They're way busier now than when they were a small shop a few doors down, so expect to wait a bit when ordering on the weekend. I've never had a problem with my orders, except that one time when they took a while. I did order a big platter that cost over $140, and they were super busy that night. The staff expressed their apologies for the delay and offered a complimentary small order of miso soup as a gesture. This has been my spot and always will be! They are cash only, but they do accept zelle and have an atm in store Pictured here from top to bottom for $40 Firecracker roll Godzilla roll Banzai roll 2 Spicy tuna roll

“My go-to spot for takeout sushi.”
My go-to spot for takeout sushi! Fresh fish, great value, and lots of roll options. Cheaper than the Chinatown location, but parking can be a pain. Call ahead—always busy! Cash-only and mainly for takeout.

Actually unreal. I got 4 pieces of salmon sashimi and two rolls (banzai and caterpillar) and it was around $27. Unbeatable price and quality and freshness! The salmon sashimi was thick and juicy and the banzai roll was delicious with the chili oil. It’s mostly a takeout place but I found a nearby park to eat it in which was so lovely. The caterpillar roll had way too much avocado for me but it would definitely be perfect for avocado lovers. This place legitimately made me want to live in Chicago. I ordered on the phone ahead of time and it was ready by the time I came! Cash only or zelle.
