Miru — honest japanese in Streeterville. Order the view. Loud in the best way, with real pulse to the room. Charmaine Poe: "It was cooked and served in a clay pot and the rice on the bottom was perfectly crispy"

“The pancakes had an amazing whipped ricotta and fresh blueberries and bacon was thick and so good”
I went to Miru looking forward to a nice night out with my friend— the view is great and the location is beautiful — but unfortunately the food experience was bit disappointing.
View is nice , drink is good but the food is horrible . Saggy wrap and they can’t even do the rice right.
It was completely frustrating. Yesterday I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday.

“First time and it won’t be the last.”
First time and it won’t be the last. We enjoyed the restaurant week menu and loved the edamame, cod, steak, hand rolls and mushroom rice. The decor was gorgeous. Also, we had the best seat in the house, what great views! The sushi was so fresh it melted in our mouth. The rock shrimp was great, too!

“Dined at Miru in The St.”
Dined at Miru in The St. Regis Hotel, Chicago with my sister and was blown away—not just by the food, but by the view. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated, and the skyline from our window table was stunning. Attentive service with warm recommendations. A memorable evening that felt elegant yet comfortable.

“The breakfast at Miru was amazing.”
The breakfast at Miru was amazing. We are staying at St.Regis and we just walked up to the restaurant. The view was amazing overlooking Chicago River and Lake Michigan. We ordered Coffee, classic Egg Benedict with mushrooms and no ham and Build your own omelette. All 3 things were amazing. Especially the omelette. Even egg Benedict was v good. It's just the server took forever to get the bill.

“We stopped by Miru for cocktails and small bites while staying at the St.”
We stopped by Miru for cocktails and small bites while staying at the St. Regis, and ended up loving it so much that we went back a second night with my boyfriend — always the sign of a great spot. It’s a lively, buzzing place, so reservations are definitely recommended, but we didn’t wait long to snag seats at the bar. The energy alone makes it worth the visit. The food was outstanding. Everything we tried was delicious, but the hamachi truly stole the show — fresh, beautifully balanced, and absolutely lovely. The service was excellent both evenings, and we even ended up chatting with some great people at the bar each night. Miru is the perfect place for a fun night out: fantastic food, a great sake selection, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. 🍶✨

“Every dish we had was so creative and delicious but the best part about it was the service.”
Every dish we had was so creative and delicious but the best part about it was the service. We had an amazing waiter named Andrew who was so funny and kind and helped me pick out the best choices on the menu because I really couldn’t decide. He also helped me pair them with Different Japanese whiskey, wine and sake. Every suggestion he made was more delicious than the last..

“Such a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake.”
Such a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake. We hosted a charm bar event with Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas. The service was perfect and each dish was Instagram worthy. The valet service ran to get my car in the icy weather. Chicago's best experience

“My party of 2 dined at Miru for breakfast on a weekday morning.”
My party of 2 dined at Miru for breakfast on a weekday morning. The restaurant is beautiful with lovely views! Service was an A+, no complaints at all! The food was absolutely delicious! We had The American, Midwestern Omelette (add sausage) and split the Pancakes. The pancakes had an amazing whipped ricotta and fresh blueberries and bacon was thick and so good! The portions were huge so we weren’t able to eat everything…but we sure tried! I highly recommend dining here if you’re ever in the area or a guest in the hotel.

“The experience was absolutely lovely and probably exactly what you're expecting.”
The experience was absolutely lovely and probably exactly what you're expecting. Very beautiful space, popular and busy, (slightly higher prices), and extremely fresh food. Would go back. Very date night, meet the parents, dress up for dinner type place.

“Enjoyed dinner at the main bar.”
Enjoyed dinner at the main bar. The restaurant has a couple main dining areas, 2 outdoor patios and a sushi bar as well. Neat, clean, modern and very good food and service in the St. Regis hotel...

“Perhaps everyone else knew because by the grace of God, we got there before the crowd hit.”
Perhaps everyone else knew because by the grace of God, we got there before the crowd hit. Again, here I am thinking I’ve found a gem and it’s been on the market 😂😂 I see why people love it. It’s drop dead gorgeous!! And the cocktails were absolutely brilliant!!! It was a Friday night so I’m hoping that should I crawl back during the middle of the week, fingers crossed I can return to experience the magic that is created at the bar and melt into the sky. #terrance 🥰

“Miru was truly an unquestionable dining experience.”
Miru was truly an unquestionable dining experience. Rather you are dining alone, romantically, family affair or friends it’s an amazing time. The Auru was incredible. It was so peaceful a place to unwind and sightsee. Just breathtaking of the beautiful downtown and the river front views. Upon arrival, valet the car which was definitely an option. Greeted by the beautiful host Liz. She was nothing short from amazing. She then, Checked me in and seated me at the best table for the best view. She was a beautiful soul! I ordered the St Regis Prime burger, miso soup, shrimp tempura Maki and my Riesling White wine. They were delicious. For some reason I had a craving for a burger at an Japanese cuisine. (Crazy right)!! Miru definitely hit the spot! What I loved most about the menu was it wasn’t JUST raw entrees but also other options for the non raw eaters. That was in-fact an excellent quality for Miru. What do you know! Once again, another great lunch on another great afternoon. Check em out!

“Wonderful service, delishes food and romantic views of the city, river and lake.”
Wonderful service, delishes food and romantic views of the city, river and lake! Miru does in fact have a gluten free menu and it's fairly extensive. They even have gluten free soy sauce and desserts! Staff are very careful about contamination and information on all food served in Miru.
