“I picked up this pizza to go and was so happy with the results. I got the butter crust and it tasted like pizano’s which is one of my favorite tavern style pizzas in the city. The sauce, pepperoni and cheese was good and the crust was perfect. The pepperoni was put under the cheese. This is going to be my go to local tavern style. I’ll have to try the deep dish at some point too. I’m not sure if I would eat inside because I live so close and it’s a tiny space but for take out it’s a no brainer.”

“Bounce back and forth between Nueva Italy and JB Albertos. Alberto's is more classic tavern pizza, with lots of sauce and cheese. Nueva Italy thin crust is lighter on sauce and cheese but at the same time in no way lacking. It keeps the butter crust super crisp and really highlights the ingredients. Top quality!”
“As a former Lou Malnati’s employee of 4 years. And a pizza eater for 35 years. I will say this pizza is top tier. The deep dish butter crust is Def competing with is more famous cousin Lou’s. This pizza is always cooked to perfection and I appreciate the consistency. The customer service is amazing ! The woman in the front counter makes you feel like you are picking up pizza from family. If you still have not tried Nueva Italy you are def missing out ❤️”
