Tapri — Woodridge indian anchored by the Haleem. Loud in the best way, with real pulse to the room. The bar is worth the visit on its own. Kandala Sindhu reddy 331: "The Tangdi Kabab was juicy, well-marinated, and packed with smoky flavor — one of the best I’ve had"

“With just the right amount of spice and a perfect texture, it was deliciously satisfying, and the portion size was generous, too”

“Amazing experience at Tapri Restaurant.”
Amazing experience at Tapri Restaurant! I tried the Mushroom Haleem and the Tacos, and both were absolutely delicious. The haleem was rich, creamy, and full of deep flavors — a unique and comforting twist that I didn’t expect to love this much. The tacos were fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with vibrant toppings that made every bite burst with taste. Beautiful presentation, great quality ingredients, and warm, friendly service made the whole experience even better. Tapri truly knows how to blend creativity with authentic flavors. Highly recommend — can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

“Tapri — Casual Dining with Thoughtful Indian Fusion Tapri offers a relaxed, café-style dining...”
Tapri — Casual Dining with Thoughtful Indian Fusion Tapri offers a relaxed, café-style dining experience rather than a traditional fine-dining setup, with casual seating and an easygoing atmosphere. What stands out immediately is the expansive vegetarian menu, centered on Indian fusion and creative reinterpretations of familiar flavors. While the setting is informal, many of the dishes feel thoughtfully curated—almost as if they belong in a fine-dining context, presented in a more approachable, everyday format. We tried the Paneer Bao, Salli Idli, Mushroom Haleem Arancini, Hakka Noodles, and Sticky Date Pudding. Among these, the Mushroom Haleem Arancini and Sticky Date Pudding were clear standouts. The arancini was perfectly spiced and crisp, served atop a warm, rich, and indulgent mushroom haleem—an unexpectedly successful vegetarian take on a dish traditionally associated with meat. It was creative, comforting, and genuinely memorable. The Sticky Date Pudding was equally satisfying and a strong finish to the meal. Another highlight is the value. Tapri is impressively budget-friendly, especially considering the level of creativity and execution on the plate. It’s surprising that the restaurant isn’t discussed more widely, as it is one of the few places confidently showcasing innovative Indian fusion while keeping it accessible and affordable. Tapri strikes a rare balance—casual, creative, and reasonably priced—and is well worth seeking out for anyone interested in vegetarian Indian fusion done right.

“Ambience, and service was good.”
Ambience, and service was good. Mixed reactions for food (4 stars) - seekh kebabs were undercooked and they couldn't get that right even after sending it back. Biryani was ok too. Pani puri was perfect. Noodles, samosa chat, baos and the chettinad curry were nice. It's not your typical Indian restaurant, the menu is different, so for a first time visit, it was a great experience.

Top of the line, I didn’t expect the food quality to be such amazing, the entire menu was very well crafted and loved the taste of food. If you ask for extra spicy it will teleport you to India because the extra spice is typically Indian spicy. Recommend to try Hakka Noodles and Bao Taco’s.

“A friend lured me here with photos of bao "tacos" filled with paneer, but once I was here I was...”
A friend lured me here with photos of bao "tacos" filled with paneer, but once I was here I was overwhelmed by the unique and delicious-looking choices. My dinner was well-prepared in a chic and warm atmosphere, and the prices were very reasonable. I'd highly recommend a meal here and look forward to coming back. I settled on the Mushroom Haleem-Kichdi Arancini... the dumplings were crispy outside with a mochi-like texture inside, and the haleem was rich and savory. Halfway through, I decided to get some garlic naan to spread it on. But the naan was TOO GOOD to use as a vehicle, so light and fragrant I just ate it on its own. The Asian cabbage salad with chicken tikka was crisp and refreshing, with tender and juicy meat, but next time I'd ask for it without cheese. All the cocktails sounded intriguing and I regret not ordering one... but all the more reason to go back!

“Awesome, authentic Indian restaurant.”
Awesome, authentic Indian restaurant. Their Thalli non veg is essentially a chefs choice lunch item. It’s so nice to be able to eat a variety of Indian food without taking home bags of leftovers.

“I found this place by mere chance.”
I found this place by mere chance. I was happy to discover they will be expanding the restaurant footprint to accommodate many more people and very large groups. The servers were amazing, and as a matter of fact, the owner waited on us as well. Tapri has excellent authentic cuisine that is cooked with quality ingredients. You can see the authenticity that the chef puts into the food preparation. Nothing is haphazard, and you can feel how everything is cooked with love. We definitely over ordered for intentional leftovers, so we enjoyed Irani chai, Pakoda, Samosa, Dal Makhani, Avacado bhel, Dum Biryani w Jackfruit, Shishito peppers - Mirchi chaat, and sticky date pudding. I have to say the sticky date pudding is out of this world (chef's kiss). I am dairy free and did not indulge in the ice cream, but it is homemade on site. This dessert was sweet but also had such great flavor! If I have one minor recommendation, it is for the restaurant to have a few physical menus available. It is possible the restaurant had them but admittedly I did not ask and we chose to order electronically instead. I will definitely be back in the very near future, and plan to bring my friends so that they too can get hooked on this restaurant.

“My husband and I decided to give this place a try.”
My husband and I decided to give this place a try. The food was flavorful, and had a tasty spice. The garlic naans were freshly made and had the right amount of garlic. Our only complaint was they took a little while getting our food out but overall it was very delicious. The place was also very cozy and aesthetically pleasing.

Great food, cozy vibe, and wonderful service with pleasant music. We ordered Bao Tacos (chicken), Chilli Chicken, Butter Chicken Masala, Garlic Naans, Vijayawada Chicken Dum Biryani, Mango Lassi, and Irani Chai served in a colorful kettle. Every dish was full of flavor. My daughter really enjoyed the Mango Lassi. If you are looking for traditional Indian food and want to relax and spend time with your family, this is a perfect spot.

“Great food and great ambience.”
Great food and great ambience! Loved the bistro feeling with pleasant music. It’s a family run place and the owner made great recommendations all of which was great. Food was hot and fresh. This is a fusion restaurant so if you’re expecting authentic Indian food then it’s not for you, no point trying and leaving a bad review. My wife and I will be coming back to try the other delicacies.
