This was my first Restaurant Week experience, and Tandoor absolutely set the bar high. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and staff were incredibly welcoming. The food portions were huge—we happily took plenty home! One of the highlights was the chef coming out personally to serve us and share the origins of his family recipes. It truly felt like eating at a friend’s house, but with an upscale touch. The Dubai chocolate cake and falooda were insanely rich and indulgent—such a perfect way to end the meal. You can really feel the care and pride behind everything they do here. I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Went here for a date a few night ago and it blew me away. The atmosphere was so much more intimate and classy than the online photos imply. On top of a superb environment, every single member of the staff I encountered was charming, genuine, and kind. They assisted me with the menu and hosted real smiles and conversation when prompted. That alone is enough to return for, however, the food itself was outstanding. The portions are large but not intimidating and they do NOT sacrifice taste in achieving a full plate. Every dish we had was rich in flavor and diverse in texture. Nothing over powered anything. It was a wonderful evening at a beautiful restaurant anyone would be lucky to try.

We had a great experience at Tandoor Char House. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and arrived hot and fresh. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the rich, comforting curries. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it a really enjoyable place to dine. Overall, a wonderful experience and a spot we’ll absolutely be returning to.

Came here for restaurant week and was delighted by the way the chef personally came to the table, shared his family recipes and we got to enjoy a lot of lovely food. The tandoor chicken was delicious and I loved the sweet tamarind sauce as well.

Great restaurant located in Lincoln Park with amazing food. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice. The naan bread and grilled chicken dish was really tasty. We also enjoyed the tamarind chicken wings which had a nice balance of sweet to spice. Definitely recommend this place.

Visiting from out of state and will certainly be back! The food was delicious, and everything came out quickly and in large portions!! We ordered the pasta, garlic naan, tandoori chicken and a mango lassi! The staff are extremely kind and made the experience even better!
