This is the bakery that I will happily continue visiting! Delicious pastries, family owned, great prices. Seriously, I would’ve taken pictures of everything but I devoured them as soon as I got home. The chocolate covered baklava was 🤌🏼 along with the honey cookie and almond macaroon. I wish my backpack was bigger so I can get more next time!

What an amazing bakery! Such a hidden gem in Chicago! Greek family owned since 1970's... From the moment I walked in I was greeted by an amazing lady behind the counter. Very friendly and was very patient to explain what everything was in the display. She even gave us samples of some of the items. They were absolutely delicious! Small store front but full of amazing baked good that will keep you coming back for more. There is plenty of street parking. I was able to pull up right in the front. I do recommend heating up the spinach pies when you get home. I bought the spinach pie, custard pie, vegan cookies, and honey cookies. The vegan cookies were absolutely delicious! Not too sweet and pairs great with tea and coffee! 100% recommend!

This mom-and-pop Greek bakery has been a local gem since 1969. They serve up some truly amazing and authentic Greek pastries. The spinach pie and baklava were both outstanding and surprisingly affordable. The interior is simple and unpretentious but the love and soul poured into their craft shine through in every bite. Places with this kind of uniquely nostalgic charm are quite rare to come by these days.

I finally stopped by at this place having driven by it for years. The place looks run down but that doesn't deter me. Or should it you. I was determined to get the spinach pie and glad they have it. There's no other savory offering other than this one. The rest are cakes and pastries. The honey cookie and the walnut cake were too sweet for me. But the spinach pie, ohhh! So very good and will go back for more of that.

I stopped in this morning for my first time after a shopping trip at Harvest Time. I got the spinach pie and orange cake for myself - came home and warmed up the spinach pie… made for an absolutely delicious breakfast! The orange cake was also fantastic. Will return to try their bougatsa. Also picked up some gluten free cookies for my husband- I can’t comment on their taste but it’s really nice they have some gluten free options!

Cute, quaint, delicious. Everything I've had here is incredible especially the eclair and the chocolate covered Baklava. Also, the honey cookies are a special treat. Can't recommend enough.

Today was my first visit to Hellas. I’ve been living in Chicago for 20 years. Finally, I have found an authentic Greek bakery in the city. The people greeted me so kindly and treated me very well. I bought spanakopita—delicious….and galaktoboureko—beautiful, just the right amount of sweetness. My Yia Yia would be jealous. I definitely will return. If you’re looking for authentic Greek cookies, cakes and pastries And of course, spanakopita this is the place for you💙🇬🇷

I went here to get Tsoureki for Pascha, and oh my God. I bought five loaves between myself and family members, and words can't describe how good it was. Easily the best one I have had this decade, and my family members even agreed that is was one of the best that they had a long time. I do plan on coming back here, and I promise you, all of the treats there in addition to the Tsoureki are worth every penny!!!
