“Without question, this ranks among the finest dining experiences I have ever encountered. However, the service provided was notably unhurried. Despite having made a reservation for Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock, I was not shown to my table until 8 o'clock. Notwithstanding this delay, the selection of wines, the superior quality of the food served, and the high level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff collectively managed to overshadow this particular issue. My recommendation is for you to anticipate the wait as a prelude to an enjoyable evening.”
“Stopped in on a Sunday to grab a drink and some apps. The bar area is huge and at least when we arrived, there were plenty of hi-tops available. A great room, lots of openness, of course the view is fantastic as well. Service was at the Gibson's level of excellence but even a step above that. Our server was very attentive, conversational, knowledgeable, and helpful. Food-wise, this steak tartare was the prettiest I have ever seen, both plating as well as the flourish of smoke as it was served. Cocktails were delicious and on brand. Good wines by the glass. Reasonable pricing given the view and setting and quality. Will be back!”
“From the moment we walked in, we felt taken care of. Our server, Jerek, was so amazing and attentive. Our initial cocktails came so quickly and we were met with the sommelier when we had questions about the wine list. Dinner was amazing, along with the wine that she recommended as well. We are from out of town, but we look forward to our next visit to Gibson’s with Jerek! :)”
“You can’t beat this Chicago river restaurant. Top tier service, food, and atmosphere!! We have sat on every floor and even had a private event on their rooftop floor. This place is unbelievable! The service is 11/10 every single time we are there. We can’t wait to come back next! Try the Banana Gelato dessert!”

The atmosphere was elegant, the food was absolutely delicious, and every detail made our evening feel special. The highlight of our visit was our server, Elijah Serrano. Without a doubt, he is the best server I’ve ever had. He was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our celebration memorable. “Everything here was excellent. Came here for valentine's weekend. They took a while with our table but let us wait at the bar. By the time our table was ready we didn't realize the tab needed to be closed out before heading to our table. The server had to search for us unfortunately and looked a little peeved. The rest of the meal was fantastic and the view of the city was incredible. Highly recommend the Artichokes for appetizer and Baked Alaska for dessert. The steak was incredible quality as well.”
