La Boulangerie & Co Hyde Park

4.1183 reviews ·Opens at 8AM

La Boulangerie & Co Hyde Park feels like a cozy Parisian escape, with a mural, indoor/outdoor seating, and standout almond and butter croissants, baguettes, tarts, raspberry cloud, and famously indulgent chocolate chip and brittle cookies. Regulars love the coffee, French ingredients, friendly service, and relaxed courtyard, though some reviews report long waits, order mix-ups, and pork-containing pastries—ask questions if dietary restrictions matter.

Vincent opened this gem of an authentic French bakery in Hyde Park. The tarts are top tier. The croissants, baguettes, sandwiches, coffee and teas are divine. He imports his non-GMO flour from France & has it available for purchase. Thanks to him, I only use French butter & flour. Bravo Monsieur. Please order more Pim's le Poire galettes. 5☆.

La Boulangerie & Co Hyde Park is a great spot for coffee and fresh pastries. The almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and delicious, and the coffee paired perfectly with it. The bakery has a cozy French-inspired atmosphere, plenty of fresh baked goods, and friendly service. A perfect place to relax, grab breakfast, or enjoy a quick coffee break. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Hyde Park! ☕🥐

La Boulangerie & Co was a nice little find. We were in the neighborhood craving some French pastries and this spot popped up. It’s small, but in a good way. Cute setup, little tables, and that Paris mural on the wall. It totally gives that authentic Parisian feel. Staff was really helpful too, super welcoming. I got the hot chocolate and a Swiss chocolate croissant. The hot chocolate was smooth and really flavorful. Made with steamed milk, so it had that creamy texture right away. Not too sweet, more on the rich side, with a slight bitterness that balanced it out nicely. The croissant though… that was the highlight. Super flaky, layers just falling apart as you bite into it. Light and crispy on the outside, soft inside. The chocolate in the center was slightly melted and it balanced perfectly with the buttery pastry. Every bite had that mix of crunch and softness. Honestly, it took me back to my fall trip to Paris a bit. Just one of those simple, really good moments. I’d definitely come back.

This is the only place where I can truly relax and enjoy my coffee. It’s better than other coffee shops around, which actually makes it more interesting. The pastries and croissants are among the best!

Nothing like a French cafe when you least expect it. As I was exploring Hyde Park, I stumbled upon La Boulangerie. What a gem. The decor was retro, French and modern at the same time. Especially stricking was the cool mural/ painting of the Eiffel Tower on the back wall. Surely a place to visit on 55th located in the back side of the walking mall. Great lighting delicious bread and croissants. It will be a regular spot when im in the area.

I am on a quest to try a new coffee/pastry location once a month. This month I came to La Boulangerie in Hyde Park. The barista did a great job with my expresso and the staff was friendly. I had the delicious breakfast croissant and it’s egg, swiss cheese, avocado, ham and bacon. Absolutely a MUST have. I also had to taste an almond croissant and WOW…flaky and soft with just the right almonds and softness inside. I highly recommend this coffee spot.
