AMAZING. Probably my fav spot since I came to visit Chicago. Its obviously a re-decorated La Michoacana but that doesnt take away from the atmosphere the owners have crafted and the waitress was super sweet and willing to explain the menu to us. We ordered one platter at first with 4pc ribs and their plant based burger with a side of Mac n cheese — amazing. The ribs were delicious and crispy and the burger was seasoned divinely. The Mac n Cheese?? It reminded my friend a little bit of stuffing flavour-wise. It was creamy, well seasoned, and well portioned. We had their strawberry cheesecake too, definitely recommend. We ended up ordering another platter with jerk sliders and bbq sliders and their Mac N Cheese again of course. Also delicious, the jerk dry rub had a little bit of a spice to it but nothing super spicy. Will definitely visit again if I come back to Chicago.

I ordered the Christmas dinner bundle and it was fantastic. I've always wanted to go here and it did not disappoint. Also this dinner was extremely affordable. Their bbq ribs were out of this world. Amazing. The texture is what really impressed me. It was actually chewy and felt like eating ribs off the bone. I got their collard greens, mac n cheese, and a mini lemon cheesecake. All of it was so good! The cheesecake was great!

After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this restaurant for myself. The atmosphere was both calming and visually intriguing, with cute tables, soothing music, and small altars scattered throughout( no judgment here). Overall, the service was excellent, even for takeout, and the food was impressive for a first-time visit. I had the platter with 2 main dishes & a large side. Also, the strawberry cheesecake.

I was amazed by the vegan selections available. The 290 Burger was very well seasoned had a nice spicy kick. The vegan cheese used is very rich and creamy, it was so delicious. I appreciate also the community resources available in her restaurant. Overall, tasty and well seasoned vegan food that I can tell was made with love.

“The atmosphere was beautiful.”

The atmosphere was beautiful. I love the positive vibes and affirmations around the restaurant. I got fries with mild sauce and the Italian beef fries. OMG, the Italian beef fries were amazing. It reminded me of the old school cheese fries but BETTER! This is absolutely my FAVORITE VEGAN restaurant. A must try! I also love the lions mane mushrooms chicken. The fries with mild sauce are also delicious 😋 The customer service was amazing!

So good!! Highly recommend. Ordered the 8 piece wings in a sampler so we got to try all the flavors, the ribs and the jackfruit sliders in jerk and bbq. The jerk jackfruit sliders were definitely our favorite! Love this place. The owner was so nice. The awning is for the previous business but we saw their signs in the windows. It’s the shop on the corner!

We drove in from far western suburbs for a birthday dinner. We got slowed down by traffic and they let us order ahead so we could eat when we got there. It was a cute little spot, the food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and even though there were a bunch of us they were very accommodating. We strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in vegan food. We had the portobello mushrooms in various ways, the "chicken" wrap and sandwich, loaded fries, and "ribs." Everything was tasty. Even the not meat meats. I had the portobello "wings" with orange sauce, mild, and bbq... I loced the orange sauce ones! Grateful for the experience and would go again. Check it out!
