“This is a Chicago icon.”
This is a Chicago icon! I'm my opinion the best hotdog in Chicago! The Whooper Cheesie Burger is phenomenal too. They have excellent malts too. If you seek to visit, a true Chicago iconic gem, from the days of yesterday, Superdawg is it. They are on their 76th year in business for a reason. The nostalgia and the quality of the food! You can order from your parked vehicle and the carhop will deliver everything or you can go inside and order. They get pretty busy at lunchtime and later in the evening.

“Glads just say, who can not love a whoopski dawg.”
Glads just say, who can not love a whoopski dawg. I wasn’t sure if I was more excited for the dawg or the pickled tomato it comes with. Fries are the bomb and you get a ton with your dawg as well. The tamale was awesome, not sure if they are homemade, but the taste was great! Experience is a must 🌭not your ordinary kind of dawg!

“Really quality hotdogs and they don’t skimp out on the dressings.”
Really quality hotdogs and they don’t skimp out on the dressings. Their malts are delicious. From their packaging to the fries, you can tell they put a lot of love and pride into their work.

“My wife and I went and our food was delicious.”
My wife and I went and our food was delicious! We got a super dawg, the sausage, chicken fingers, and a burger, and for desert the root beer float, ice cream bowl, malt, and a cookie and honestly it was the best food we’ve had I. Chicago thus far on our trip! Everything was hot and fresh to order, full of flavor, and our car hop adriana was an absolute treasure! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a great old time drive-in experience 👍🏼

“a top chicago establishment nestled in the heart of Chicago’s northside.”
a top chicago establishment nestled in the heart of Chicago’s northside. I love their burgers, hotdogs, and milkshakes. Yes it’s more expensive than other hotdog places, but it’s a piece of history. I’ll always recommend superdawg

“This place is a Chicago institution.”
This place is a Chicago institution. I have been going here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. They use their own special blend of hot dog and it definitely separates them from their competition. Crinkle fries and shakes are always a nice addition.

It was a fantastic place to eat! First place I stopped after I got to Chicago! I had always heard about it! The covered parking, the order menus! The food was delicious! Very glad I stopped! Well worth it! Highly Recommend!

“Really a great Chicago stop.”
Really a great Chicago stop. Fun to order through the retro boxes or walk up to the window. Chicago dogs and burgers with delicious fries and ice cream. Make sure if you don't like relish to ask not to have it put on your burger. It was a surprise lmao.

“I came here the other day to get my birthday freebie (a free large drink and supersandwich) and it was great.”
I came here the other day to get my birthday freebie (a free large drink and supersandwich) and it was great! I really enjoyed the drive-in vibes. My mom and I were a bit confused on how to order, but thankfully the staff and customers were friendly and helped. We got the superdawg, whoopskidawg, and a large lemonade. The wait wasn't super long and the food was nice and fresh! The superdawg was a well-made and delicious chicago style hotdog and the whoopskidawg was really good; I loved the 'special sauce' (it tasted like BBQ)! Both of the meals came with fries as well. The prices aren't horrible (~$10 per supersandwhich) considering the supersandwiches come with fries. Overall, I would definetly recommend this for a cool drive-in restaraunt!

“The Superdawg is such a meaty hotdog, you will certainly be satisfied with all the trimmings on top..”
The Superdawg is such a meaty hotdog, you will certainly be satisfied with all the trimmings on top... and the crispy, crinkled fries that surround it. Try the pineapple shake; the chunks of fruit are so substantial many won't fit through the straw. I now realize that I failed to include a photo of the hotdog by itself. It smelled so good and my appetite got the best of me. Before I could take a picture of it, it was gone.

“Built in 1948 so don't expect modern.”
Built in 1948 so don't expect modern. But do expect a throw back in time to drive in hot dog stand. Car hops take deliver orders to carside. Or you can go inside to order. For how busy they are they are very fast. We ordered Superdogs with Super fries. Perfect all beef Chicago style dog with toppings. AND THEY HAVE MERCH ! We got a 6mo baby outfit. Def a must go see and eat in Chicago !

“Fun, old style drive-in restaurant (and you can just walk up and order).”
Fun, old style drive-in restaurant (and you can just walk up and order). Went around 2pm on a Sunday, waited about 10 minutes for our food. Superdawg was decent, as was Superburger, and chocolate malt was delicious.
