Phenomenal service and delicious food. I had my post graduation dinner here and we were blown away with the service. The location of the restaurant is great as well, if you get a chance to sit outside make sure to! Make sure to make dinner reservations!

Food was so fresh, homemade, with the perfect portioning of ingredients. Dined alfresco which was perfectly shaded with trees with a view overlooking the water. What a calming & inviting feng shui. Highly recommend their homemade beignet.

Summertime in Chicago is all about Al Fresco, and having drinks and food and pinched on the river is a must! As the name implies this restaurant is right on the chicago river. The view is gorgeous and the food and drinks are heavenly. Although pinched by the river has a chic and elegant dining area with a big beautiful bar indoors for those cold winter days, summer time at Pinched On The River can't be beat. For drinks we tried the Mango Maria and the Watermelon Margarita. So refreshing! We sstart with the Mushroom Pasta Flatbread and the Mediterranean Fish Tacos for our appetizers. For our main entrees, we had the Poseidon Bowl (anazing!) and the Chicken Mushroom Pesto Pasta. The pesto was so good, I wanted more of it. The deserts were outstanding and enough for 2 people each. Sea salt caramel cheesecake (so decadent) and the Beignets Charcuterie, just like the ones we had in new orleans. Be sure to eat them warm. It's gorgeous here relaxing, and comfortable, has great food and drinks with exceptional service! What more could you ask for?

From Wiaconsin, but when we go to the museums near by we have come here. This was our second time and once again the Mezze Plate was delicious, as were the drinks (Espresso Martini and the Chicago Star) and the affogato. The hostess, I think her name was Sheena or something similar, was very nice and asked if my and my partner were on a date and took a wonderful picture of us with the backdrop of the river. Wonderful atmosphere too!

“Food was declious.”

Food was declious! Lots of gluten free items and dairy free options too. Gluten free pita bread option was very good and accommodating. We had to wait for awhile for our table outside even with our reservation- but we were limited as we had our dog with us so we required patio seating. It was so nice to be able to have our dog sit outside with us. Server was friendly, very knowledgeable on dietary restrictions, and provided detailed descriptions. Would definitely come back again to eat! Gorgeous atmosphere near the river.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in awhile. Quality and quantity of food was excellent and was ready in like 5 minutes! All the people there were very personable and attentive, even asking and remembering my name. And really, you can't beat a location like that in a city! Beautiful environment, stayed for hours, was hard to leave! Would definitely go back.

We were on our 3 days vacation, and while we were walking, we found a sign of Mediterranean food, which we were looking for. We went in and saw a bar and then went downstairs, and that's where the dining area was. It looks very modern and has a great design, which I thought it would be expensive. However, it has very reasonable prices with delicious food. It's even 3 years old approved for its delicious white beans soup. Thank you, and I will definitely go back there when we go on our vacation to Chicago again.

We stumbled upon this place on our first trip to Chicago and it was so amazing that we woke up the next day to eat here again. Twice in one week! Shina, the hostess is and was so welcoming and amazing. Ronna is and was lovely! We definitely recommend every inch of this place. You won’t be disappointed! 💙 The Poseidon Bowl and Mushroom Pesto flatbread are AHHHHMAZING! 😋
