Naz's Halal Food - Lakeview
Naz’s Halal Food stands out for juicy chicken and tender lamb over well-seasoned spicy rice, generous portions, and standout white and fiery green sauces; the intensely spicy Fire Wings and fresh falafel are also favorites. Regulars appreciate the affordable prices, late hours, and friendly counter service, making it a satisfying casual stop, though reviews mention long waits, missing sauces, inconsistent customer service, and disappointing hummus and pita.

“I recently visited Naaz Halal Food, and their Chicken Rice Platter completely exceeded my expectations. The last time I had a similar platter was from Adel’s Halal Food in New York City, which is known for serving one of the best halal platters. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed this one even more. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The spicy rice was delicious, well-seasoned, and complemented the chicken perfectly. Every bite was satisfying, and the portion size was generous as well. If you’re looking for a delicious halal rice platter, I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Was craving some good Halal and decided to try this place out and they did not disappoint. Chicken is well seasoned rice and is flavorful and the portion size was incredible. Definitely will be ordering from them again.”

“Quick service, great quantity & taste, not bad prices as well”

“My experience with this establishment was disappointing at first utilization. Better to eat out than order in. Ordered via uber eats and immediately cancelled Because my intended buy one get one @ $20 order rang up as $49.($5 tip included) They were kind enough to tell me through the cancellation step in the app And confirm that my food was NOT prepared. As I had called within 2 mins. However uber charged me $38 for canceling the order On behalf of Naz. Uber refused any assistance. As their system automatically steals your money under the policy that the restaurant 'Accepted ' the order. This is the agreement between the restaurant and uber. I called the restaurant, the next day and asked if they would fill my order for a lower costing meal outside of uber since they were already paid $38 For food they did not provide me. They refused. They chose to steal my money on a technicality. They said only uber can refund me. They could not give me food for the $ they were paid. Clearly uber controls their conscience as well. As a Muslim, that was disappointing to patronize a halal food place and they do not operate under halal principles. Had they prepared my food was a different story, but they assured me they had not. So they lost no ingredients or time. (For the owners- That's theft, that's Haram, akin to riba and the lottery. what's the point of selling halal food If you are willing to rob people on a technicality?) Needless to say, I will not recommend you or patronize you Based on your greed to take my $38 and refusal to attempt to make the situation right. Maybe your food is good. But I will never know. So one star .”
“The food was amazing I ordered the rice chicken and lamb combo so good especially they're white and the green sauce 🩷”
“Had an amazing experience at Naz's Halal! I ordered the mixed combo bowl with both lamb and chicken, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor, while the chicken was perfectly cooked. I also tried the 🔥 Fire 🔥 Wings, they definitely live up to their name! They were extremely spicy but absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh, the portions were generous, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for flavorful halal food with great quality and excellent service, I highly recommend Naz's Halal. I'll definitely be back!”
“The tzatziki/white sauce is amazing. Green sauce is spicy and also very good. I put it on the falafels. Fresh hot falafels mildly spicy. The guy working at the counter was nice and gave me sauces. The space could be more cozy but overall nice place with good falafel and sauces, I can tell you that much. Also nice that they're up so late.”
