“Shoutout Julio and the Fam!! Delicious tacos. After living in Austin, i’ve struggled to find good Mexican food in Chicago. This is the real deal - the pastor tacos are to DIE for 🌮”

“Best tacos in the city, seriously. I love the steak tacos, and I’ve been going back almost every week. Everything is consistently fresh, and the green sauce is incredible. Definitely give it a try, you won’t regret it.”

“One of my absolute favorite taco trucks! Every time I stop by, the food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The tacos are packed with perfectly seasoned meat, and the tortillas taste homemade. The salsa is the real deal—spicy, tangy, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or stopping by for a late-night craving, they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and fast, and you can feel the good vibes as soon as you pull up. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican street food that hits every time, this taco truck is a must-try. Easily one of the best around!”

“The best tacos I love there steak seasoned to perfection. Great customer service. Overall the best oh yeah and their greens sauce is a hit.love it . Try them you won’t be disappointed at all.”

“I come everyday for lunch. I’m never disappointed and they are always fast and accurate. If you haven’t stopped by please do. They are on Illinois by the Ice Cream Museum !”

“3.8 Stars and let me explain why. First time ever trying this taco truck. They’ve got a wall of 5-star reviews, so I walked up expecting something life-changing. Didn’t quite happen. The elote? FIRE. Like, “I almost turned right back around to get another one” fire. No complaints there at all. I ordered the 3-steak taco dinner and an elote. 24 bucks? I’m looking at the plate thinking, glad I wasn’t too hungry. The tacos tasted good — the meat had nice flavor — but there were too many fat chunks for my taste. I’m not trying to navigate fat chunks like it’s an obstacle course. Rice and beans? Small. Like the portion was made for someone on a strict diet they didn’t tell me about. Service: Not rude, not friendly… just there. Nothing special. Bonus points: They had tap-to-pay, which is always a win. I almost never carry cash these days. Final verdict: Good flavor, small portions, fat chunks in the tacos, amazing elote, mid service. I give it 3.8 stars — solid, but not sure what all the 5-star hype is about. Hope this helps someone 🙏”
“This place is delicious and the area they’re found rocks too! The folks that work on the truck are super kind too :)”
“If you’re in Chicago, don’t waste time looking for that perfect Mexican restaurant. Nothing better than to grab the best food from Mr. Quiles and find the closest place to sit and eat (Chicago water front or river walk way). Assuming you can get there without eating the hot, fresh and amazing tacos first!”
