“Food was beyond fantastic with generous portions. Our server was pleasant, helpful, mindful of my mango allergy, and gave excellent suggestions for what to eat. If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. We will definitely be back.”

“Wow and WOW backwards! 1st time at this restaurant. Sevice was great (Sandra was out waitress), food on point, overall wonderful experience!”

“I’m in town from the Philadelphia area. We walked from my son’s home yesterday to Honey Bear Cafe for brunch. I had a very late flight and hadn’t had anything to eat since lunch. After the walk I started feeling like I was going to pass out. I sat outside with my head between my legs until our table was ready. Once we were seated our sweet angel server, Sandy, sprung into action. She got me water, an ice pack and fresh fruit immediately. She tended to my every need with such love and compassion. Thank you Sandy, you are an angel!!!”

“Today my wife and I went to Honeybear before venturing into the city. I’m so glad I made reservations—even for a Thursday. The scenery was so vibrant and the food was delicious. We met a beautiful couple sitting next to us Karen and Tina who helped us with our menu selection. Honestly, we could’ve shared one plate, that’s how big the portions are. The service was great. We will definitely make this a common stop when in Chicago for future visits. Picture was taken with my Meta’s.”

“Great service! The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. They are always in a great mood, smiling, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.”

“Food is absolutely delicious and artistic. Lattes look cute and are actually not very sweet which was a nice surprise. Also you can just ask for my gravy without being charged.”

“Make a reservation and enjoy amazing food. The French toast is fantastic whether you get an enhanced or plain version.”

“The greatest chilaquiles ever! They make their sauces from scratch and you can truly taste it. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. My husband had the pancakes and chorizo omelette and they were delicious. Whoever their chef is, they are AMAZING!! We WILL be back.”

“Okay so this has to be one of the best pancake spots in the city!! So many options and their specialty coffee is a chefs kiss I’ve been here many times. A reservation is probably a good idea but not mandatory, walk ins are welcome as well. Despite reservation I had to wait 15 mins but that’s okay”

“Finally got to try honeybear, and I had an amazing experience! The tiramisu latte hit the spot for real! So yummy! I tried the French toast flight 2.0 and thoroughly enjoyed it. My fave had to be the creme brulee French toast. My partner got the lowcal scramble- so there are healthier options if you are looking for that. Our server was fab. Make a reservation in advance and hit this place up when you get the opportunity. It's busy but did not feel rushed or hectic to me!”

“Bring a friend to split the plate with, portions are HUGE. They have two different French toast flights. The challah for the French toast as well as the biscuits are made in house”
