“So restaurant is so warm and inviting and the food was as delicious as I had hoped- having slowed it on social media. I can’t stop thinking about that yummy black garlic rice! Best I ever had!!! I can’t wait to take my husband back. The Korean fried chicken is savory and super crispy! The Ernie’s fingers - so good and different with a spice I didnt recognize but it was delish! Turns out it’s a spice the chef created (and you could purchase it) The whole meal was an experience. So many good things in the menu - I can’t wait to go back.”

“Service here was unmatched, I have gone 2 times now and both times I was greeted and treated like family. They do fill your water glasses which is nice, but the 2nd time I went I was in a larger group and would have liked more water. Atmosphere is beautiful, the art work is amazing and the establishment is clean. The food was great I enjoyed everything. I am not a fan of black eyed peas, but I tried them and they were ok, everyone in my party loved them, so I know it was a me thing. The first time I went I had the weekday Menu and the 2nd time I went I had the Juneteenth menu. I will be going again for the weekend menu and may have to swing in for brunch! I do not have a picture of everything I ate and some pictures we ate before we could take a picture, but you can’t go wrong with anything.”

“Great little spot for great tasting food! Everything was delicious including the drinks! We came for brunch. Little seating but they were able to accommodate for 8 people”

“I was here last week on my lunch break and had the most flavorful dish I've eaten in quite some time. If I wasn't sitting so close to another person, I may have stuck my face in the bowl and licked it clean. Alas, decorum strikes again. The owner was such a delight, sharing her upcoming Juneteenth menu (which sounds awesome, by the way) and chatting about the history of the place and general things. Such a warm personality, incredible food, beautiful surroundings; lovely experience all around. (And they have a happy hour!)”

“This restaurant is a gem in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Chef Chloe’s palate and creativity is amazing! She has a wonderful story on the creation of her foods and the history of the restaurant. The food as well tastes phenomenal. It truly delights the palate. My hubby and I love this place so much. We are fortunate to have it in our front yard. The elevation of the food, its taste, and presentation rivals any restaurant downtown. Great tasting creative food+ Excellent Service is what describes this restaurant in a nutshell.”

“The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very personable atmosphere, and the decor was very chic. This restaurant is a must.”

“Today my husband and I had the privilege of finding and experiencing this hole in the wall… the atmosphere is beautiful, Chef Kloe is an incredible and lovely person, the food is an another experience in itself, with each bite you can taste a different herb and spice!!!! Real food!!!! We forgot to take pictures of the other plates before we started devouring them, but you won't regret trying any of them!!!!”

“Wonderful Experience with chef Chloe!!! Worth every bite!! Bring a friend or bring a date either way they’ll enjoy the plate!”

“Dixie Pura was amazing! From the Food, Atmosphere and Service. The owner even came out to greet us and tell us her story! 10/10! Also in my favorite neighborhood Bronzeville!”

“My friend and I had the most wonderful experience at brunch here the other day! I've been desiring a local place with delicious brunch and a great ambience and found it! I can't wait to see it become a Bronzeville staple and am recommending to my friends!”

“Highly recommend! All the flavors are incredible. .And it’s heartwarming to see how passionate everyone is about the food and the legacy of their family. Got the Ernie’s Fingers as an app it was incredible! The pimento mac was amazing! So was the garlic ginger fried rice and garlic cabbage. Drinks were on point as well. I tried the tropical smoke. I can’t wait to come back to try their brunch.”
