“For a restaurant right on Michigan Avenue, the quality of the food and its execution far exceeded my expectations. I am a big fan restaurant Raya in Orange County, so when I found out Casa Chi is another restaurant of the same owner’s, everything clicked. It was an “aha” moment. Everything we ordered was excellent, including dessert. Matcha crème brûlée tasted better than it looked.”

“Food was exceptional. Staff was super friendly. Loved the atmosphere and experience of this restaurant. Will definitely visit again.”

“We really enjoyed trying this restaurant while in Chicago, we ordered appetizers as our main dish (since we weren’t that hungry) and our favorite was definitely the Guacamole with crispy pork belly! The Beef tiraditos was also very good if you like carpaccio, and the Coconut ceviche was very light and flavourful. The Lobster tacos were okay but didn’t live up to the expectations unfortunately. We’d love to try some of their main dishes in another opportunity if we are back in the area!”

“What a hidden gem on Michigan Ave. We stayed at the Intercontinental and were delightfully surprised at how the presentation was as incredible as the food. Also, our waitress Elena was the best. Loved the whole experience. 150% recommend!”

“We loved Casa Chi in Chicago! The food was amazing—an exceptional Japanese-Peruvian fusion with incredible flavors. The ambiance was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Elena made our experience truly special. She was much more than a waitress; she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Totally surprised by how good this restaurant is. Thought it was just a typically hotel restaurant that’s just there for the convenience of the travelers. However, we were impressed by the deliciousness of the cuisine and the outstanding service. Ingredients were fresh, presentation was top notch, and flavor was rich. We would recommend to everybody. We ordered Japanese style for sushi and salmon plates. And went with Peru style on hot stone plate. We didn’t order much but left with full stomach.”

“We had a really great time. The service was awesome and everything we tried tasted really good. We ordered the Lobster Wonton Tacos, Salmon Poke Bowl and both the Prime Skirt Steak and Prime Tenderloin on hot stone.”

“Came for happy hour and absolutely loved their watermelon margarita. The service was great and the ambiance was cozy and inviting which makes it nice for a date night or a girls’ night out. Im definitely coming back to try their Sunday tea brunch!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We came here for my 18th birthday dinner since I wanted a relaxing but artistic restaurant with either Mexican or Asian cuisine, and Casa Chi was the PERFECT place. The guacamole was phenomenal, the Yuzu desert was light and delicious, the hot plates were wonderful, but above all the chef and waitress were able to make me a lychee tea in a beautiful teapot that was to die for. Our waitress, Elaina, was absolutely wonderful and so sweet. If I’m in Chicago again, I will be coming back in a heartbeat.”

“Best boozy afternoon tea deal in town. Our server was fantastic and the food + drinks were really good too. Would definitely come back.”
