I cannot speak more highly of the team at the Uptown Breakfast House. We have been visiting since they opened, and have gotten to know every single team member. We are always greeted by Marianna the hostess who offers exceptional care and is a shining light. Just like Marianna, the servers are always hardworking, caring, sweet, and make you feel right at home. The service is always amazing, and the food is always so delicious. We are proud to live by and support one of the best diners in Chicago, and probably the best breakfast house of all their locations! ❤️🙏

2025 Edit: it’s official, this is my new regular spot instead of Ann sather! A year later and it is better than ever here! Original: Great new breakfast spot with lots of Mexican themed and vegetarian options. Clean, crisp interior and good service and intelligentsia coffee. The Mexican omelet was spicy and complex. I’ll be back!

Quaint, cozy, and classy all at once. The scrambled eggs are cooked perfectly. The hash browns are savory, the pancakes fluffy, and the sausage maple-y. The drinks have a good kick to them, too! Make sure you go on a long walk after you fill up here!

The food and service is amazing. The chilaquiles and dulce de leche French toast is to die for! The coffee is always a hit too! I sit on the patio with my dog and they are always so accommodating. I really enjoy this place! Highly recommend.
