I ordered 2 lunch 😋 specials 1 jerk cat and 1 jerk white.... also I treated myself to 2 extra jerk sauces 😆.... I literally drink this stuff ya'll lol... it's fire 🔥 especially since I can make jerk from scratch myself I get allspice and cinnamon overload wich is dope 👌🏾. They never disappoint or leave me feeling unsatisfied whenever I visit their establishment and I'm greatly appreciative for them being in our community. 💯 yall better watch out before they get gentrified 😆 and go and support your people's 💯 🙏🏾💪🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I rode pass this place twice in one day. I kept smelling their food before they open. I had plans on going elsewhere but come to find out the original place that I wanted to try was not open. This was my very first time trying this place. The smells was amazing but the food was spectacular!!! I order the jerk wing lunch and dinner because with the jerk wing lunch you only get 3 wings however if you get the jerk wing dinner, you get 6 wings. My sides was red beans and rice, Mac&Cheese, order a small yams, a small callaloo and a salad. Now at first I was skeptical abt the Mac and cheese because it did look dry but the looks are deceiving. The taste was on point. The yams was flavorful. And this was my first time trying callaloo which is amazing. The plantains that come with your order was delicious as well. Definitely will come back and pig out so more. Now the inside is decorated nicely but they haven't gotten it inspected to fully operate. They need to hurry up because the vibes are giving. Now excuse me for the plates looking halfway gone but I was suppose to do a b4 and after but the way my belly was setup, it didn't go as plan! Just know everything was worth it and taste amazing!!!

A Chicago staple- to say the least! It’s well worth the wait 😆. The SAUCE is the real MVP. The jerk chicken & jerk fish dishes are always grilled to perfection. My favorite sides are the rice and beans, cabbage, plantains and candied yams! I always order extra jerk sauce because it allows me to jerk some things at home. If you love jerk food, the Villa is the way to go ☺️ Quality food takes time. Order ahead, be patient, & tip the cashier. SV

“The food was really delicious.”

The food was really delicious. It was properly seasoned and it wasn’t overly spicy to the point you couldn’t taste the actual meat or food items. This was my first time trying this restaurant. I was recommended by a friend we both was in the mood for some jerk. I spent a total of 79 dollar for three orders of food but it was worth it. They give you a lot of portions on you can reheat it or save it for leftovers. I enjoy everything but my Mac n cheese it was mid. While I was please by my food I didn’t like the long wait. I get it it’s not fast food but I think they need to have at least three cashiers up front. The longs be so long it damn near detour you from ordering here. They also need to get an atm inside the restaurant just in case their system stop working like it did when I was in there. All and al I would rate the place as 9/10. Would I come back of course!

Food is excellent as usual. My family loves the jerked chicken and cabbage , yams, and Mac & cheese....I ordered my catfish dinner and I ordered over the phone and I went there and waited for over an hour to pay for my food. It's not a place you can go if you only have an hour for lunch. The people were actually very nice compared to past experiences. I would like to have my favorite catfish as a dining in experience and sit on the new patio I saw last week for the 1st time. I want a chance to enjoy the new location without being crunched for time.

Jerk Villa has been my go to spot since 2010. The only jerk spot I can say the JERK SAUCE is 🔥🔥🔥 perfectly seasoned with a resistance taste but also spicy as 🤧 but good. The second best is the Chicken fresh batches be on point. The third best but is mostly everyone's best is what they always run out of first the YAMS!!!!😭😭😭 but yes the best Chicago jerk spot don't believe me go shop. Yes customer service is on the sour side but you have to understand they work 6 days a week orders overload. So it's exhausting especially when you've dealt with rude customers all day. BEST HOOKED JERK SAUCE IN THE CITY DON'T BELIEVE ME GO SHOP.

I've been a customer for many years and although it's been a few years since I had them I was excited to hear they upgraded and wanted to try their food again. I ordered a mixed chicken dinner w/ Mac and yams... And expected red beans and rice since that's what I remembered getting before. Here's my rating on my most current experience. Mac = 5 not cheesy enough for me, flavorless Yams = 7 I liked the flavor. Chicken = 8 it was good, tasted like jerk. Bread =0 what the heck happened with the soft Jamaica bread?? This bread was either old or just hard and tasteless. Overall not bad but the fact that I paid 20 bucks for a jerk dinner that didn't come with rice = 0. Consistency is key even when you BECOME successful. I had better at other places, paid less and got a hell of a meal.

Ordered $40 worth of food via DoorDash and the dark chicken meal was extremely DRY and overcooked, mac and cheese was soupy and not firm. Cabbage was not cooked all the way through. Very disappointed

“Went at 2pm on a Sunday.”

Went at 2pm on a Sunday. The line was outside of the door and most of the people in order had ordered ahead. I waited in line about 30 minutes and left after I heard the person at the front saying he ordered 2 hours ago and food STILL wasn’t ready. It seems like instead of hiring 2 more people to move the line in the front of the house, the owners are greeedy and overwork one person. They won’t change unless we talk with our dollars

First let me say that Jerk Chicken is one of my favorite foods to eat and I can say without any hesitation, this aint it! The only thing that I enjoyed was the jerk sauce. To add insult to injury my wife and I got sick immediately after eating their food.🤢 We will never dine here again!
