“Heard from a family I must try this spot!!!! Took my Titi with me to try Pr and Cuban food. This spot is better than Ponce! Better than Jibaritos Y mas!! It felt like someone cooked at home with love!! I highly recommend the Congri and Jibarito!!! Yuka con mojo is to die for!!! Tried a lot today, worth it. Mi Gente I found my new go to spot!! Try it for yourself!! Large portions, they aren’t expensive, worth the price! Dale!!!”

“I am still sitting in here. I’m so full I might never leave. But the food was SO GOOD!! I tried the tripleta, the foxito, the rice pudding, coconut flan, and I forget what it’s called but funnel cake chips with guava sauce. Everything was AMAZING. And Alberto took such good care of us, he was so friendly and kind and told us about all the other amazing things he makes and the catering options. I’m for sure coming back”

“Awesome place! The warmest welcome! Food was 1000/10! Stop by so you can feel special and fed awesome food!”

“First time having Cuban food, but the empanadas were delicious, hot, and quite scrumptious. We each got am empanada, and that was enough to satisfy our hunger, if we had more time we could have tasted more dishes. We also had the coconut flan, one of the best we've had, and the best dessert we ate that day. 🙌🏾 definitely a spot to revisit when I am back at Logan square.”

“I’ve always driven by but never stopped. This is the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in Chicago and every one was so sweet and nice. I got it to go and ate it in the park across the street. I’ll be back in a few days, I’m sure. I’m eating this same sandwich left over from yesterday and it’s JUST AS GOOD. came to review it and realized I already had. So so good.”

“I got a pork sandwich and a cafe con leche and they were both delicious, and the service was excellent as well!”
“genuinely one of my favorite restaurants ever! the food is AMAZING, fresh and delicious every time! the owners are always so sweet to myself and my husband. i rave about this place anytime anyone mentions puerto rican food in the city. 🇵🇷❤️”
“Thank you Chef Ana for your incredible Cuban Puerto Rican mix of latino flavor.”
“After checking out a not so good PR restaurant in the burbs last week, we needed to find a good one. We did with this one. Service was great and food was better. Parking is out on the busy street so you might have to walk a little but it’s worth it. We had the congri rice as well as rice con gandulez. Not dry and very good. The meat was very good as well in the Jibaritos.”
“I love the steak sandwich here! Great local, family owned restaurant!”
