Caribella — Logan Square caribbean that sets the standard. Feels like it's been there since before the neighborhood changed. They're doing something different, and it works.

“Tried Caribella for the first time today and it was absolutely out of this world.”
Tried Caribella for the first time today and it was absolutely out of this world! We live just a block away and never noticed them before. I had the Sunrise Stack Jibarito, which is basically a breakfast burger with fried plantains as the bun. The flavors worked to well with each other, and everything, from the meat to the potatoes to the plantains, was well-seasoned and perfectly balanced. And to top it off, the servers were all so nice and welcoming! You can tell they love working here! Don’t sleep! Their food is incredible!

“Found this place by chance and fell in love with the menu.”
Found this place by chance and fell in love with the menu! Delicious options for everyone and such a lovely blend of Caribbean flavors! The service is always fantastic, and everyone is friendly! I always get the coquito latte and it tastes amazing every visit! The caribella skillet is also one of the classics that I absolutely love! Overall I make sure to visit this place every time I’m in Chicago! I would recommend it a million times!

“The coquito latte, OMG.”
The coquito latte, OMG! You can order three and keep wanting another one, what a drink! Jibaritos are also very good! It takes a little to make, but it’s worth the wait. Very good place for breakfast or brunch!

“We just happened to catch the name Carabella on our way from doing some errands and decided to come...”
We just happened to catch the name Carabella on our way from doing some errands and decided to come back and visit the restaurant. To our surprise, this little hidden treasure is our favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is full of flavor, and we aim to try it all but not all at once, of course. Lol 😋It's become our favorite place to come for lunch as well. The other day, we had jibaritos, and they have made it even more delicious than any other place that we have ordered it before. The coquito coffee is so good, and the chicken waffles are just simply my fav. 😍 It's a must try for anyone who enjoys delicious food and great service. So much more, we still need to try. Skillets are so delicious filled with unique flavor, and don't forget to try the coquito latte creamy and smooth done to the last drop. Thank you, Miguel, Salvador, and the rest of the staff for the excellent food and service every time we eat there.😋💞 I will keep coming back and posting pictures of their delicacies.😋

“One of a kind, small brunch place with delicious food.”
One of a kind, small brunch place with delicious food! The moment you walk in, you can tell that ownership and the staff really care about the quality of their food, and you can taste the quality as well. Prices are fair and portions are the perfect amount if you’re looking somewhere to eat for brunch, I highly recommend. They are steak and egg sandwich was delicious. Coffee was also amazing. Thank you to Miguel for a great experience.

“Small but quaint.”
Small but quaint. Was greeted immediately. My full party wasn’t there yet, so while they couldn’t let us sit at a 5-top yet, they sat us at a 2-top until they arrived. Thankfully, a 5-top was open when my other party guests arrived, but that wasn’t always the case later since they get pretty busy. Service was friendly and there were plenty of delicious food options to choose from. I got the cubano skillet and my friend got the cubano sandwich sub bread for lettuce wrap (loved this bc not all places accommodate a simple lettuce request like this!). Another got banana pancakes, and one got the French toast platter - which looked AMAZING 🤩 Drinks were delicious with juices/nectars to choose from along with lattes. My biggest pet peeve in my time in Chicago was the bill splitting, but at this point we had gotten used to it. I paid the tab and had everyone Zelle me. Hey, at least I get my credit card points up, but not looking forward to the credit card payment due at the beginning of next month 🥴😂 Stop by here if you’re in the area!

“Truly an excellent dining experience all around.”
Truly an excellent dining experience all around! Our server Bella was incredibly attentive, kind, and patient as we tried to narrow down our choices among so many delicious options! I went with the guava french toast combo, and my friend went with a fruit + Nutella french toast combo. We were both beyond impressed!! I’ll be dreaming about that guava french toast for a long time!!! 10/10 would recommend stopping in for some amazing food if you’re in the area (or even if you’re a bit out of the way because it’s worth it!)

“Such a lovely brunch experience.”
Such a lovely brunch experience. We got the French toast sampler (can’t recommend enough), the Cubano platter (cousin raved about the pork), and the steak and eggs sandwich (spicy and delicious). The service seemed so genuinely kind and efficient - host got us sat super fast on a busy Saturday and our server Miguel was so sweet.
