Visited the city from Cincinnati over the weekend and when I tell you this spot was a surprise - it was! The fettuccine Alfredo was absolutely incredible. I've been telling everyone about it. The option of having it served in a cone was so unique and fun! Don't let the cone size fool you! So much food!

Had an amazing experience at Anto Pizza & Pasta Chicago! Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and clearly made fresh. The rigatoni was rich and cheesy with the perfect sauce-to-pasta ratio, and the arancini were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, definitely a must-order. The fried calamari was light, crispy, and paired perfectly with lemon. The portions were generous, the presentation was on point, and you can tell they really care about quality here. Great spot for comfort Italian food in Chicago. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

This is literally my favorite restaurant in Chicago. My wife and I have been here countless times. The food quality is always consistent and tasty. It has an authentic Italian taste, flavor and atmosphere. My favorite is the fettuccine paste and marg pizza. Can’t go wrong with any. I literally had my wedding party here and it was absolutely amazing. Tony, the owner, is best and I love this place. Service is always amazing. Oh! They have halal options as well!

The food at Anto Pizza is truly delicious. What makes this place special is the depth of flavor and the quality of the ingredients. The fried calamari is so lightly crispy on the outside and incredibly juicy inside — perfectly cooked. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants, including some fancy ones downtown, but the flavor here is honestly one of the best. It’s such a cute Italian restaurant with a cozy neighborhood vibe, yet the food quality is seriously solid. The pasta is perfectly al dente and melts in your mouth, with a deep, refreshing seafood flavor that feels both rich and light at the same time.Oh it was soooooo tasty! I highly recommend it. Even with delivery, they pay attention to quality — they request a proper pizza bag to make sure the pizza stays fresh and doesn’t lose its texture. You can tell they truly care about good food.

We had a Valentine’s Day Dinner. Love the food. Reservation needed and street parking is a bit challenging.

This was delicious, the pasta was tasty, everything was well seasoned even though parts of the focaccia burnt up a bit. I think it's a little overpriced if you just order pasta, sharing a pizza might be the best choice pricewise but it's a good solid choice.

When it comes to neighbourhood restaurants, and if you follow my other reviews - you know that I love finding the mom-&-pop joints. And this is one of my go-to places whenever I am up in Rogers Park! Anto Pizza and Pasta was put on my radar for their pasta in a cone. A nod to Italian grab-&-go pasta joints. What is great about Anto is that you can definitely get their pasta in a cone or on a plate. I tend to go with a plate option and don't want to eat out of a cone when dining in. But hey - it's a great presentation of your main if that is what you're into. I also always get their fried calamari. It's always perfectly lightly fried - which makes them the perfect crispy thanks to their batter while staying tender to eat. If you have room, they have some lovely typical Italian and Italian American desserts. But I'm usually too full from dinner. If you're in Rogers Park and like a solid Italian American restaurant that won't break the bank, come to Anto. Some tips I suggest: - space is very limited. So don't come with a big group. Best time of year to come is in the warm months because they have the outside patio al fresco dining that is delightful to people watch at. - place is BYOB. So bring your own. Which I recommend going just a block away to the cute wine tasting bar (called Taste Food & Wine) and grabbing a wine from their sommelier and let them know you're coming to Anto and they'll help you pick out a great bottle to take back to this place for your meal! - parking is extremely limited even for street parking. Fortunately they are right next door to the Jarvis redline stop!
