I love the vibes here. Everyone is having a good time and the servers and bartenders are awesome. I popped in here the day after Christmas with my parents who were visiting. I got the white chili which was good but a bit too spicy for me. I admit, I’m kind of a wimp when it comes to spice levels, so you might think it’s perfect. My parents both got the soup of the day which was a tomato bisque. They both licked their bowls clean saying it was amazing. If you’re looking for a vibrant bar in Lakeview, check out ROCKS. This place rocks! lol

I had the grilled cheese sandwich with house salad. The sandwich was really good, grilled with a basil oil. Service was very friendly. Definitely returning next time I am in Chicago. 😁

Best old fashioneds in Chicago!! 🙌🏻 My family loves to come eat here when they visit! Fun outdoor patio space. Fast service and delicious food! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries! Rocks is a neighborhood staple!

“Good food, good service, reasonable prices.”

Good food, good service, reasonable prices. We looked in the area for a restaurant that was open for lunch on a Monday. Usually I wouldn't go to a bar for lunch, but there weren't a lot of options. I'm glad we got here because it sure was a great experience. Our waiter Medison was helpful and very courteous. We ordered the Goodfella Burger, the Chicken Strips, the French Onion Soup and some beers (Dovetail Helles Lager). All were good. The price was reasonable (around $20 per person) and definitely was worth the food. I came here at a different time and had the Chicken Strips but was pretty disappointed (they were small and dry).

“Rocks in Lakeview ROCKS!”

Rocks in Lakeview ROCKS!! Good burgers, sandwiches, wrap, salads, fries, Mac and cheese, nachos, beer selection, etc. Always have had good service also! 😎 The Rocks burger is a classic (Over 145,000 sold- as it says on their menu)! Great spot to grab a drink, some lunch or dinner, and watch a good game on tv. They have a lot of TVs; so if you like sports. You will like this spot!

Fantastic place! Our server was super attentive and quick. We got the White Trash Nachos and 2x4 burger with fries. We were beyond happy. The Nachos were a fun twist with the corn chip scoops. The fries were delicious, so hot and crispy. Our burgers were juicy and flavorful, the pretzel bun was a very nice addition. Rocks was great and I highly recommend it.

Not anything really bad to say about Rocks. Staff were friendly, following public health guidelines and have lots of outdoor seating available! Their fries are impeccable, their food good, and they have a fair selection of local brews on draft and more on ice. Their reservation system requires a down payment, which I don't love, and causes a little confusion in the final bill & splitting situations.

It's only right to give 5 stars. You're greeted professionally. They follow the public health guidelines seriously. The atmosphere was lively and beautiful. The servers were friendly and professional. The food??? Wow, extremely delicious! Let's start with the dips. The sauces and dips paired with the food very well. The burger was cooked perfectly, the wings were delicious, the salad was fresh, and the grilled cheese was to cry for. Please, check this place for your foodie taste buds, they won't disappoint.
