“I was invited to join friends at Alulu. With no traffic it’s a 40 minute drive. What I experienced was a quaint brewery with an amazing selection of beer. As I sat at the bar with my friends, an eclectic array of people came and went. The kitchen was busily pumping out food and the bartender was busy tapping and mixing drinks. I had the Filipino chicken and my friends had burgers. My chicken was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and a nice balance of spice. My only wish is that Alulu was closer to home. Get out and experience this gem. Had another opportunity to visit Alulu and they didn’t disappoint. Nyssa took great care of us! The Rauchbier is outstanding. This time I had the Filipino pork belly tacos and they were exceptional. If I were to make a wish it would be for fish tacos.”
“The food here is really good. I ordered the fish and chips and it was perfect. I love when fried cod does not have too much batter, that perfect balance of fish and the breading is key. Also the fries were very good as well, they didn’t taste overly fried and the texture was still crispy and fresh. Next time I come I definitely have to take more pictures!”
