“I ordered thru phone and asked for recommendations for a sandwich and the guy who picked up the phone was very nice and helpful explaining his best options, the sandwich I got turned out to be AMAZING since it was a first time trying I was amazed with how good it was and how it doesn’t really taste like a regular sandwich but more like they add their own flavor to it. Honestly 10/10 and I will be purchasing it again! Recommend 100% 😋😋”

“Ordered a Steak Jibarito through grubhub, the food was prepared perfect. Great portion of meat on the sandwich, and plenty of arroz gandules. Keep up the great work!”

“Came here for the rabo (oxtail) after searching high and low for a place that serves it. Fell in love with the ropa vieja as well. The food here is incredible—it tastes like authentic, hearty food! I've also tried the cheese and chicken croquetas (wonderful, but save space for the main entree) and the piña colada. Everything was great, including the rice, black beans and plantains that come with the meal. For the price, this is absolutely unbeatable, and I always go home with leftovers. This is a 30-40 minute drive from the suburbs, but my bf and I happily make the trip.”

“Wanna start by mentioning the women who served me was so kind and welcoming. She gave me some recommendations and I went with the picadillo à la habanera. It was so freaking good! Also ordered a cappuccino. The espresso was so strong and flavorful. Didn't finish it and she offered to pack it to go for me. Can't wait to come back! 💜”

“Delicioso! Me llevo una gran experiencia de este lugar en mis vacaciones. Que gran sabor! Buen personal, muy dedicado.”

“After a stressful day at the hospital and missing dinner, getting up early dropping kiddo off, cleaning mom apt because she is in rehab. I needed a perfect place to relax, give myself a moment. Tropi cuba is the perfect place to relieve stress and have a quiet moment. Starting with a warm welcoming from the owner, Millie. The family environment, people coming in and out, she knows them by name and favorite foods. A great smile from Millie, customers conversing and laughing, soothing music surrounding your sensations that transport you to a place of family and companionship. I sip my cafe con Leche and guavaba pastry..I ordered to much but my soul appreciated it. The prices are $10-20 with daily specials. Come for the food, stay for the relaxation and enjoy a café con Leche. Empanadas, tostones, and special meal for soup and half a sandwich for $12.95..perfect for leftovers overs.”

“Everything I tried was excellent. The steak sandwich and fried rice stood out. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, which came with Maduros. Service was good.”

“I go for lunch to this place all the time since it’s close to my work I love the food so much that I decided that for my daughter‘s first birthday I would cater the whole thing from them. I wish I had a picture to show you guys everything I ordered, but anyways, I did rice meat, yucca, plantains, and I got nothing but compliments the whole night about the food it was seriously the star of the show. Highly recommended totally worth every penny I added a picture of the happy customer. Thank you for making Barbara’s first birthday a very special one with your delicious food”
