“Food was good! Super chill vibe. Love that you can substitute fries for a salad at no charge. Def will be coming back here! Great burger. Update: second time here, server was extremely rude and kept rolling his eyes. Still tipped 20% but it was not welcoming”

“Our film crew wrapped on a Sunday and so we came to Avondale Tap for the night specials. We enjoyed the wide selection of drinks and the burgers were excellent! 🍔🍻”

“I had a lovely time at The Avondale Tap! They have a really great menu of bar food including salad, sandwiches, burgers, and so many apps! I saw they have fried Mac and cheese squares so I’ll have to try those next time!! The loaded sweet potato tots were soooo good salty and savory and really hit the spot!! I had enough to take home for lunch too 😋 Super kind staff that brought the food out quick! Yay!”

“Every summer or whenever I have the opportunity, I go back to this place from the Caribbean to Chicago, just to try their wings and ciders, I can say that this is in my top 5 best places to eat wings in Chicago. Also the fried pickles are on the top. I hope to return soon to enjoy this again”

“The server told us that we were the nicest people who ordered. I’m like “oh…. is the area that bad 😳””

“Love my neighborhood bar to bits. Stellar cocktails (paper plane is my jam) and can’t beat half off wings on Monday nights.”

“Chill vibe. They were very attentive and helpful. Good cocktails - great food! Would recommend the pretzel and fried pickles!!”

“Nice little bar. Service was friendly. We went on a Saturday night and the patio was full so got seated inside but the sever was nice enough to move us out when tables became available. My partner got a duck burger sandwich thing and coleslaw he really liked. My only downside is the veggie burger was not good. The patty was made with mostly rice and a little black beans and just completely and utterly fell apart when trying to even pick it up. No sauce on the burger either so quite bland. Def not a burger I would get again, would def opt for another option on the menu.”
