SaiMai Thai Restaurant — reliable thai in Old Town that keeps people coming back. Order the Lumpia. Colton Hughes: "Food is always fresh, and the restaurant is spotless"

“In all fairness they were properly staffed for the low dine-in patrons and high take out and delivery orders”
Hands down the best Thai tea in Chicago.
I stumbled upon this spot while exploring nearby shops. The menu pulled me in immediately.
Group study sessions often end here. Everyone orders something different from the drink menu.
I came in for a short break between errands. Ordered a coconut bubble tea and sat for a moment.
No recurring complaints found across reviews.

“Order online but you can eat there.”
Order online but you can eat there! Massaman curry was great. Download the app for $5 off your first meal:)

“Sai Mai is a fantastic spot for fresh and delicious Thai food.”
Sai Mai is a fantastic spot for fresh and delicious Thai food. I live nearby so I order online and walk over to pick it up, but they also offer delivery and counter service. They’re always very nice and polite. Their website is easy to use for ordering and offers points/rewards.

“Duck curry is soooo yummy.”
Duck curry is soooo yummy. I would definitely recommend. If you’re a spicy food lover, order up a 1 spicy level. The staff is very kind. This place is take-out only but they have a couple tables if you can eat your take-out food at.

“I’m obsessed with this place.”
I’m obsessed with this place. Namely the lumpias, egg rolls and the currys. I get this all the time. Pick up is always sooner than the eta and it’s easy to pick up.

Delicious food. Quick carry out. The perfect combination for a lazy weekend day. We ordered the spring rolls, the vegetable and tofu fried rice, and the panang curry. I really couldn’t decide which dish I liked best.

Wow! Best green, red and masaman curry I have tasted in a long while. Loved that they went out of their way to accommodate us even when the resturant was completely full on a rainy night. Boba and appetizers were also excellent. 100% would recommend

Great food. Great location. Highly recommended. I had green curry with scallops and fried rice while my wife had pad thai and cold coffee. We were super hungry before we arrived and were full within 10 minutes. It is a hip place with minimalist interior.

The duck curry was a sweet one, with pineapples, coconut milk, and the meat was thinly crosscut slices that allowed for some tasty marbling. Not much room to eat in, so I got there at a less busy time deliberately.
