La Lunita — a quiet mexican spot in Logan Square with a growing reputation. Candlelit and unhurried, ideal for a slow dinner. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu.

Had a great brunch at La Lunita! They had a happy hour going on from 11 am - Noon. Had a mimosa for $6 great deal! We each got entrees and split the blue masa pancakes. Pancakes were decent and on the thicker side. My chilaquiles were amazing. Great flavor. It was a great atmosphere and I will definitely be back!

This place was such a pleasant surprise! I absolutely recommend their mole enchiladas, so delicious! A bit on the pricey side for sure, so a good place for a special occasion.

HUGE FAN. Food is 🔥. My only feedback: more of our people (la cultura) needs to support this spot. 🌮

Gorgeous, Delicious, Amazing Service. Our server, wish I knew their name, truly made us feel like a good friend. Every meal we had was delicious (Oysters, Steak, Enchiladas, and Tres Leches Cake). Really amazing date night experience.

Great new addition to Logan Square—finally some standout Mexican cuisine. We came here on a Wednesday, and that turned out to be the perfect move. They offer $2.50 oysters, and they were absolutely delicious. The drink program is just as impressive—great tequila selection and well-crafted cocktails. At around $15 each, the cocktails are very reasonably priced compared to similar spots. Hopefully, they keep it that way. I’ve already been here about four times in the past month and have tried roughly 80% of the menu, so I feel confident saying the consistency is there. Standout dishes: * Octopus * Oysters * Prime steak taco * Quesabirria (made with actual lamb) with consommé * Branzino * Tampiqueña Every single cocktail I’ve tried has been excellent—I haven’t found one I didn’t like. It seems like they use Siete Leguas for many of their tequila-based drinks, which is a solid choice. If you’re into tequila, you’ll definitely appreciate what they’re doing here. For dessert, the tres leches cake is a must. Pair it with the horchata espresso—or go all in and get it with a scoop of horchata ice cream. That combo is next level. The only minor note: the salsas weren’t spicy. I understand that may be intentional given the broader crowd, but it would be great if they had a spicier option available for those who want more heat. Spicier michelada would be great too! Overall, this place is a 5/5 for what it aims to be—great food, strong drinks, and fair pricing for the area. Shout out to the General Manager always there to back up his staff. Solid example of service and hospitality. Have been here multiple times and will continue to come back if they continue to stay consistent 👍🏻

Such a fun vibe inside! I went for a night out with friends and got a variety of menu items, but the octopus absolutely stood out. The drinks were a hit and the atmosphere was so much fun with a group of friends. Having gone right after it opened, I was super impressed! I just recently found out they serve brunch and I can't wait to visit again.

This restaurant is a gem. Perfect amount of flavor and spice. Tables are too close together but the food makes up for it. Will be back

Beautiful space, excellent food and great service. The menu is varied but I would recommend trying the salsas. We tried the macha and it was very unique. The cocktails were fun too and the tres leches was delicious. They had vegan tacos al pastor which enjoyed as well as other vg options.

La Lunita is first of all, gorgeous inside. They have a record player, super comfy bar seats with a back, and a well lit back bar stocked with the essentials - tequila and mezcal. The bartenders made me their take on a mezcal negroni which had a little spice to it (like a slow burn, not like a jalapeno). It was so good! For food, everything was great; this restaurant is a pescatarians dream. I ordered the tuna tartare, scallops, and fish tacos. All had complex flavors with great depth and subtle heat. I’ll be back soon for Vino and Vinyl wine nights!
