Came here on a whim since I was running an errand nearby. The tacos were ridiculously good, flavorful, meat was tender, and the chicken was well seasoned! Definitely coming back again if im in the area! Also, the horchata was delicious and HUGEE. I LOVE HORCHATA HAHA SO PERFECT FOR ME. 10/10. Cash only btw !!

Update: Just snagged some dinner for taco Tuesday for the family. Is it hard to get 100% of orders correct 100% of the time yup, but El Gallo is a neighborhood gem. For those giving 1 star, it's likely they aren't local to the area and definitely didn't speak up if there was an issue. We've eaten here more 100 times and maybe had 3 mess ups all which we fixed. Food: A+, Staff: A+, it's cash and they haven't changed prices for over 5 years because of it. And if you are waiting 15 minutes it's because every day except Monday there's a line because it's that good. Some of the best chicken & steak tacos in the area. Great price, great service, open late, but not a drunk stop.

Really good tacos at this spot. The pork tacos are delicious. The refried beans are pretty good too. Reasonably priced food and friendly staff. Have a patio for outside eating when the weather breaks. Food will fill you up.

I can always count on this place as a late night go to. The service is always quick and professional. They do offer dine in. I usually get my food to go. Their chile relleno tacos are delicious. The steak is good but not consistently. They actually have good horchata. You get your monies worth.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Went here due to a recommendation from a friend of my cousin. I arrived home and seen that my order was completely jumbled up. I called and was told for additional fee I could get the correct items that was ordered as what I was charged and given was of lesser value. Btw this place does not give you a receipt after ordering. Items that I received that was correct was only partially correct. There was no Souza on the burrito dinner with Souza, there was no sour cream when I paid 0.60 for sour cream, the cheese on top looked and felt like play dough. The steak was dry, crunchy, and over cooked. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I only gave El Gallo one star just so that i could leave this review A friend recommended that a cousin and I go, she praised their food so I thought let me give em a try. Fatal mistake, they screwed up the order after repeating the order to us…”steak fajita dinner no beans no cheeses, burrito suizo dinner and three steak tacos” but I received two steak burrito dinners and I will let these be worth a thousand words
