“Popped in for quick drinks and small bites. Such a fun space with great vibes! Large creative cocktail menu and fun fusion foods. Staff are super friendly and helped us decide on drinks.”

“The food is 10/10 I would not come here for drinks I would say it's not very congruent w the menu and then the flavors don't really match w the menu. The whipped paneer was so good as were the hush puppies. I also got the mushroom curry which was top notch.”

“Where have you been all my life?! What a playful decor, and menu! Chef Zubair is a genius. I mean I had Vada Pav and tableside Banana groni to drink! Wow! Not spicy but flavorful take on Indian bites. That Chettinnad curry was insane. Get their chai/ best I’ve had. Love the paneer dip too! Fun date night spot and everyone who works there seems genuinely happy and kind! @chicagopescetarian”

“Finally made it here and it did not disappoint!! Drinks and food were all insanely delicious. Can't wait to go back!”

“Best fried chicken sandwich in the city although the vada pav and the uthappam are just as good. Literally everything I've had here is outstanding and I would go here again and again. Great for a casual dinner out or late night.”

“Totally worth the hype! Food was amazing, Cocktails, Well balanced, and staff, super great! Highly recommend!”

“Delicous drinks and a great backbar. The staff was really friendly and they had good happy hour deals and a couple vegan options. The lime in the coconut is the best NA ive ever had. I will be going again!”

“AWESOME NO NOTES!1!1!1 variety of south asian inspired dishes and everything was delicious. i loved the mocktail options (so fun and different than just juice and seltzer!) and the prices were not bad at all. our server was so kind and answered all our questions, and even gave recommendations for our trip around the area. cute fun atmosphere, limited amount of tables so i’d say reservations are a good idea- we got lucky with a walk in for 4 though!”

“Very much enjoyed my time at Lilac Tiger, we were only able to get a seat against the wall but considering we had no wait that was actually pretty lucky I think considering how full it was and how long the wait for a full table was. Drink was absolutely fantastic (Bring Back Lilac Colada) and the signature Tandoori Fried Chicken was great too. Think I’ll have to try the THC Sando next time. Chef Zubair and the rest of the staff provided great service as well.”
