“When we went to this place, they were about to close but still took us in. The service was amazing, everyone was friendly and the food was soooooo good. We ordered the bulgogi and Japchae etc. And the Japchae was chef’s kiss. The bulgogi was served raw so you can put it on a stove and when it came out…IT WAS SO GOOD. I have no complain and I DEFINITELY will be coming back!”

“We were in the Mundelein area looking for some Asian food and came across this place on Google Maps. We decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did. The restaurant has a more traditional Korean feel, which made the experience even better. We were in the mood for something grilled, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. The food was delicious, and everything came out fresh. One thing I really appreciated was how calm and quiet the restaurant was. It wasn't crowded or noisy, so it was easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. They kept refilling the side dishes quickly without us having to ask. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Good food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.”

“They are the best! Very friendly and hard working staff. Food usually doesn’t take long to come out, good portions as well. Everything is always delicious. This place is my favorite hidden gem.”

“My friend recommended this place and we met here for lunch. We love our Korean food and I must say this is as authentic as it gets. We had the spicy squid, Stirfry pork and also Juk kae Jang. All of the dishes were outstanding, and Service was terrific. Family owned and come support this wonderful business!”

“We love it here. Can't go wrong with Dak Bulgogi and kimchi fried rice. Stews are amazing on cold days”

“Even though we got there with only half an hour to spare and the place was packed, the food and service did not disappoint, after visiting Seoul Korea this summer, this little restaurant was truly a gem we found”

“This place is amazing… We have never been anything other than ecstatic with the food and the service at this place. The service is amazing with the nicest staff you’ve ever met.”

“Very beautiful and delicious place to eat!! Service is great and food tastes amazing!”

“Great staff. They are very polite and attentive to their customers. The Bulgogi tasted fresh and the portion sizes are good for the price. The atmosphere here is very chill and friendly. AC is on the warmer side.”

“Loved this place. They precook the food for you, so it doesn't take long to cook once it gets to the table. Large portions, great service. Would definitely recommend”

“Blue House Korean BBQ was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time and the food was delicious! The cucumbers were so fresh and the beef and spicy pork were phenomenal! I will be coming back for sure. I highly recommend! Five stars!”

“Blue House Korean BBQ delivered an excellent meal from start to finish. My absolute favorite was the Kimchi Pajun Spicy—a perfectly fried kimchi pancake served with a flavorful soy dipping sauce. Crispy on the outside, packed with bold flavor inside—truly a standout dish. The overall dining experience was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the call button at the table, which made it easy to request assistance without interrupting our conversation or meal. One clever detail I loved: napkins were conveniently stored on the ledge by the table, so we could grab more whenever we needed—no need to ask! Great food, great service, and thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend!”
