The service didn’t speak much English which was fine for me but my mother who has too many questions was left with much unanswered ones lol

Faiza Chicago — a food spot in Albany Park. Polished but not pretentious. Flavors that haven't been adjusted for mass appeal. Wallet-friendly. Мирзахид Махмудов: "It felt so fresh and interactive, and the flavors were absolutely incredible" [$$]

I ordered guyru lagman(hand pulled noodles) and the portion was huuuuuge, and really tasty, just like my mom would cook back home. Wow, never seen this much of a good food in one plate, definitely will be my to go place.👍

Excellent and very delicious traditional cuisine, with huge portions and an exceptionally polite staff. The plov and manty were outstanding, and the fruit tea was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great place, so happy I stumbled across this place on my way to the train station. The plates are big enough for two. The team was amazing and it comes in a big pot with a candle underneath. Food was mouthwatering, lamb fell off the bone. Very colorful artwork on the wall.

Faiza is one of my go-to spots—I’m a frequent customer, especially for their famous lagman (so good every time). I usually order takeout, but when I want to introduce friends to Central Asian cuisine, I bring them in to dine. The food is consistently delicious. Service can be a bit slow, but staff are always polite and welcoming.

A wonderful gem for Central Asian cuisine in Chicago! I've been coming here regularly with family and friends, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently served hot and fresh — a small detail that makes a big difference. The manty (steamed dumplings) are, in my opinion, the best in Chicago — always arriving perfectly steaming, incredibly juicy, and full of flavor. The guyru lagman (noodles served separately from the sauce) and boso lagman (fried noodles with vegetables and meat) are equally impressive. Portion sizes are generous — easily enough for two people to share. Don't sleep on the homemade pelmeni (mini dumplings) — they are absolutely mouth-watering and clearly made with care. The interior adds to the whole experience, with charming décor and decorations that reflect the rich culture of Central Asia, giving the restaurant a warm and authentic atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Central Asian food or simply enjoy a satisfying, home-style meal!

This place is so good! The food was just delicious and service was fantastic! The layman (noodles) is definitely a must try! It’s probably one of the best dishes they have. Also, don’t forget the mix of fried dumplings and steamed—both are equally delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cozy and just comfortable to hang out and talk. For dessert we had the honey cake and fruit tea. Both were so delicious 🤤 Our waitress Maral was so sweet and absolutely the best! She was so kind caring, and attentive! Meat is halal (HMS certified)—huge plus!
