“As a Polish person, I am offended by the food I received from Polona. I haven't had the chance to eat authentic Polish grub since my mom passed 5 years ago. Thankfully, she did not have to suffer through trying to eat this food. To say I & my Polish father were disappointed in our food would be a tragic understatement. I ordered Bigos, Golampki & Pierogi yet each dish tasted identical to the other. That wouldn't have been so bad if ANY of the dishes were edible. But none of it, aside from the pre-made items from Poland, was even tolerable. #Sauerkraut #cabbagerolls #Pierogi”

“I was a little disappointed with the pierogi. Yellow cheddar cheese?? I grew up with farmers cheese and potatoes. There was plenty of filling which was nice. I did know I ordered with cheddar cheese and potatoes. Didn't know it would be yellow. If I ordered again I might try something different.”

“Review on meat pierogies: they taste EXACTLY like my Polish grandmother used to make in the 1980s. I moved away from Chicago 30 years ago and have lived in 9 different US states. I've tried many so-called 'pierogies' from any place that would sell them, although few did. I've been to Poland and had pierogies at a non-tourist pierogi restaurant. While some others were good, none tasted like my grandma's pierogies other than Polana. My order was correct, arrived frozen and was quickly delivered. Dziękuję Polana!!!”

It's important to keep our Polish Traditions going especially at Holiday time! Polana's smoked sausages, a favorite, are always a big hit with the whole family, neighbors & friends and my Granddaughter's & Son-in-Law enjoy the kabanas 1st thing when shipment arrives because I saved the rest for holiday time meals!
