We’ve been to this place twice. The first time I thought the food was ok, bar food.
There must be another Avondale Tap with better service because the service that my girlfriend and I received was terrible.

“Kids chicken tenders were fantastic, fresh made, not frozen, huge portion, I would order for an app and have them toss in wing sauce”

Every summer or whenever I have the opportunity, I go back to this place from the Caribbean to Chicago, just to try their wings and ciders, I can say that this is in my top 5 best places to eat wings in Chicago. Also the fried pickles are on the top. I hope to return soon to enjoy this again

Love my neighborhood bar to bits. Stellar cocktails (paper plane is my jam) and can’t beat half off wings on Monday nights.

“The best wings(?).”
The best wings(?). I try wings everywhere I go and finding good wings at a new spot is a blessing on its own. These wings were different. They’re great. Every time I recommend them to someone it becomes their main dish. 10/10 wings

Avondale Tap holds a special place in my heart, and I'm thrilled to share my five-star experience at this delightful establishment. From its inviting atmosphere to the friendly staff and mouthwatering menu options, Avondale Tap has consistently delivered memorable moments that keep me coming back for more. One of the standout features of Avondale Tap is its dog-friendly patio during the summer months. As a pet lover, being able to enjoy a refreshing drink or delicious meal alongside my furry companion is a true delight. The patio provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where four-legged friends can bask in the sunshine while their human companions unwind and enjoy the vibrant ambiance. It's heartwarming to see an establishment that embraces and accommodates our furry family members. Speaking of the staff, they are the epitome of fun and friendliness. From the moment I walk through the door, I'm greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The servers go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, providing prompt and attentive service while radiating positive energy. Their passion for their craft and dedication to customer satisfaction shines through in every interaction, making each visit to Avondale Tap a joyous occasion. Now, let's talk about one of my absolute favorites on their menu: the fried pickles. These delectable bites of tangy goodness are an absolute must-try. The pickles are perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown, creating a satisfying crunch with every bite. The combination of the crispy exterior and the juicy pickle inside is a match made in heaven. Whether enjoyed as a snack to accompany your drink or as an appetizer to kick off your meal, the fried pickles at Avondale Tap are a true indulgence that will leave your taste buds craving more.

My pregnant fiance was having one of those crazy night cravings for nachos and honestly I wanted to make sure I would live the next morning. I found this place and had one of the best nachos I have ever had. The bartender was super nice and the food was amazing. Loved the atmosphere. Very friendly. I would definitely be going back.

Great place. Nice chill vibe. Great staff--attentive and friendly. Good bar food. Was very yummy. Had the duck with chimmichuri, sweet potato tots. My husband had the Cubana--he loved it. Nice cocktails. Lots of screens for Sunday 🐻 Bears games. Wish we had a place like this is our neighborhood in walking distance.

“Such a great neighborhood staple.”
Such a great neighborhood staple. The place all the neighborhood doggies hang. Great drinks and beers on tap. I am obsessed with the house salad and sweet potato tots (I don’t eat meat but I’m sure everything else on this menu is great). I also love the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Great place to watch sports games, as you can see in my photo! :)
