“We go here a few times a year it’s always great. Love the bar and the roof top deck. Pulled pork was so good want to go back again.”

“I came in for some good food and solo time and got more than I expected! GREAT FOOD and a Great Environment. An exceptionally over the top bartender (Arianna) made the experience that much better. I’m not from this state but it could definitely feel like home. Awesome Service. Awesome Food. I will definitely be back! P.S. - Did I Forget To Say Arianna Rocks?! The table next to me was singing her praise and I see why now!”

“Fantastic Turkey Burger and some of the best onion rings I've ever had”

“Everything was perfect, Definitely Going to return to this spot.”

“Love this place. Recently had the privilege of trying the chicken sandwich. Fantastic. Amazing. Wonderful. So big and juicy and crunchy. Yum. Also stole a bite of my boyfriend’s turkey burger. Scrumptious. Delicious. Will get next time. We tried the wings and flat bread a couple months ago and I remember the pure bliss of happiness while eating those too. This is our third time coming here and I’ve never been disappointed. Drinks are great. Canned and draft beers are reasonably priced. Cocktails are smooth, tasty and most importantly strong. They kinda sneak up on you if you’re not being careful. Always a great time though. The rooftop is such a vibe as well. Love love love it here‼️”

“Remembered a salad from about 20 years ago and took a chance it was still there.. salad was EXACTLY the same, absolutely delicious!”

“Avenue Ale House Happy Hour not the same without light bites or select appetizers from the main menu. Save a dollar on $3 domestic bottles or can get Tallboys for $4. Please bring back high margin food deals for us locals. Came in for game day. Avenue Ale House had trivia going on a bustling Wednesday night. Wanted to order a flatbread... but they ran out of dough! So tried the next best thing with the Maple-Chipotle wings and the Carne Asada Waffle fries. The appetizer portions were large enough to share and affordable to boot $$. Their tap list is on point with over two dozen beers on tap. Tried the Mango Cart and a really refreshing Bauweisse hefeweizen. Due to trivia packing the tables, sat at the bar to watch him ckey and baseball. The barstaff did not disappoint with quick and friendly service... tonight's atmosphere made this a 5 star. Will definitely visit Avenue Ale House again.”

“I walked in and ordered, to go, the fried cod fish tacos, with a slight modification. They were edible, but I was very disappointed. There were four street-style tacos, but they lacked flavor. I also ordered the bread pudding which was recommended by the server. Again, no flavor. It fell completely flat. No raisins, no buttery flavor, just bread with custard baked in and covered with caramel sauce, which didn’t help much. The recipe could have used coconut milk for richness, raisins, more cinnamon, or even diced apples. This placed was one a destination for me. I used to love the skirt steak wraps, salads, and the “Mary’s” lamb burger, which they removed from the menu long ago. Too bad. I won’t be returning. The service was very pleasant.”

“The experience was not that great. The food, though, presented well, was flavorless. This was so disappointing as my family and I chose the location to celebrate a birthday. We traveled from south of Chicago. We spent over $100+ for flavorless food. When we were seated, immediately spinach dip arrived to the table. Nearly 30 mins later we were informed by the manager that the spinach dip was for a other table, and we'd be charged. After explaining what we experienced, the issue was resolved. However, I found it odd to pay for someone else's mistake. This was expressed with the manger. The spinach dip was thought to be complementary given how quickly it arrived after being seated. We had not even met our server or placed any orders. Ordered vegan tacos, baja tuna tacos, half rack ribs, burger, dragon mai tai, sprite, and amaretto sour. We likely will not return.”
“Love the rooftop food is so good. Employee are super nice.”
“What a delightful place to watch the World Cup matches. We had not been here yet this summer and were very impressed by the changes to the decor and the menu. We are big beer lovers so to have a list with so many selections in a neighborhood bar is rare. The food was just as good. Having lived in Buffalo NY for a bit, I can tell you about good wings. These are very good and the bleu cheese is proper chunky. The bar was busy, but they had plenty of staff on to take good care of us. Hopefully they are a good luck charm for the USMNT because we will be back for that game as well.”
