“We had brunch at alexanders in skokie. Boy is it crowded on the weekends! Be prepared to wait anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes for a table. While my husband opted for something from the breakfast menu, i went with something more on the lunch side. I had the CarnitasTacos (Braised carnitas served on corn tortillas topped with delicious pico de gallo and cotija and served with cubed potatoes. They have a wide variety of offerings. You could come here for a couple of weeks in a row and have something different every day/each time? The food was delicious. The service was fast. It was a great experience! We will definitely come back for breakfast, lunch or brunch when we are in the area.”

“Food is good. I feel they are a little cheap on the berries. My waffle, French toast, whatever I tried could have used more berries.”

“Me and my mama stopped in here. Our 1st time dinning. The burger was really good. Ma had a basic 2 egg breakfast. Lol. But I definitely will be back for the burger. Service was good. Our waiter got busy. But the other waiter helped out and got us what we needed. Great team work you dont see often at restaurants.”

“Omg this place is amazing!!! Customer service impeccable!!! Clean place and servers are quick to rollover tables for the next person. Food was sooo good!!! Mimosas yum!!!! Definitely a great choice eating here!!!”

“CHURRO. FRENCH. TOAST!! Was visiting from Canada for the weekend and my companion who is a local said we gotta go to Alexander’s for the churro french toast. Sooooo good!!! Light and pillowy and presented so nicely. You MUST order it! Service was good. Pleasant and attentive. Getting seated at a table was a bit disorganized with a simple yet effective enough number on a post-it system. Walking through the kitchen/prep area to the “waiting area” was a bit awkward but the churro french toast makes it all worth it! Ultimately the establishment can only work with the space available and since it’s hopping and busy they’re obviously doing something right!”

“This place is ADDICTING!! Their service is awesome and food is delicious! The Crém Brûlée french toast is a must try and the fries are really good! Been here 3 times within 20 days!”

“Delicious food, friendly staff, clean space; a great place! Will definitely be back!”

“The servers were so nice and sweet . Very vibrant looking breakfast restaurant. My boyfriend took us here for New Year’s Eve morning . The tres leches French toast won my heart , the grilled toast and skillet was phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back”

“I had an amazing breakfast experience at Alexzander Breakfast! Everything was outstanding, but the shakshuka toast truly stole the show so flavorful and absolutely mouthwatering. The classic French toast and tres leches french toast were the cherry on top, perfectly made and incredibly delicious. Every bite felt special. This place is truly a hidden gem in Skokie. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”
